Great info as always. I don't sell much on pond 5 but sold a premium license the other day. Not sure exactly what that is. It only states that various people can use the music. My music is PRO registered so if anything is used commercially I should hopefully see something for that. They don't really explain clearly what the lisences are.

I have 145 tracks on Pond 5 and 0 listens on most songs. I did get 4 sales in January which was nice but zero sales in February. They sent out a briefing saying to make surf music and to use their special tag for exposure. I made a few surf songs (that is right up my alley) But they all have no listens still. That’s okay though, I’ll keep at it. One day I’ll get in the algorithm more. 👍🏼

Hi SML! Are you selling only the Edits or are you puting the whole versions with the edits as of the files people will get when they but the edit?

I think I'm going to concentrate on Pond5 again. I've submitted 6 songs to Audiojungle since November and had 4 sales, but my latest upload has been rejected and I personally. thought it was my best and most likely to sell track. I just feel like some of their reviewers just don't like certain styles... I was hoping that after getting a few sales, my tracks would get accepted, but no... so feeling a bitt crap about the whole thing tonight... but uploading a few tracks to Pond5 and see how they do. Thanks for your video and general encouragement :)

Hello, have been enjoying content videos and knowledge!!!! my concerns now , with stock music what about copywrite does it matter or not and do i need to be set up as a music producer like with ascap or bmi... I have in past years been in contempary gospel. Needing to transition to own person music... I think is is a great transition for me, but I had not notice the background for signing up info to one of these stock music (how do you exactly get paid from them ). I guess what I am asking I am just getting paid directly from one of the stock music business and no need for a middle man if this makes sense. Thank you!!

Good to know that Me making 30 second and one minute versions of nearly all of My music might actually pay off more. I did that so I could put a bunch of tracks together as a demo of My music for people to know what I can do. Also I prefer to put short cuts out first before the full track is put up.

I appreciate your work! I wonder, when making the :15 second, :30 second, etc. edits, should they be faded at the end, or should that be left up to the end user? I can see a need for both, but which would be more popular for purchase?

I have sold very less on Pond5 as compared to my sales on AudioJungle, but 90% of those sales were edits. Its actually a great thing to see that you can create more opportunities for sales for yourself, from just one track on Pond5.
