Thanks
Exactly, you saved my time. Thank You.
The best part about your videos is the way your eyes sparkle when you talk about the books you love!
The energy is contagious! Godspeed to you girl!
Awww!! Thank you so much ❤️❤️
I love will so muchhh. The love triangle is so addictive. I spent half of the time crying while reading the series. It's just so amazing, lovable, heartbreaking and everything u could ever wish for. Btw I think Magnus is the core who keeps everyone together most of the times
Edit: u should definitely read mortal instruments, dark artifices, and the last hours series( the 2nd book is out)
Itsss soo good. I'm sorry for babbling too much I go crazy everytime I talk about shadowhunters
I love this video sis and thanks for recommending I'm already going to order some books in Amazon today itself 💜♥️✌️✌️
Thank you for the wonderful recommendations Shruti 🙂 It is a really tough time and even I believe that reading does help in some way. Therefore, I continuously advocate reading more on my page. Hope, we get through this soon.
Yes, reading is really what provides me with a lot of comfort. Hope you and your family are keeping well! Stay safe 😊❤️
Lord of the Rings is the best!!! Great recommendations... I look forward to read most of them.
Are you watching Shadow and Bone in netflix? I started it just now and it was freaking amazing...
Yess!! LotR is the BEST!!
I'm currently binging the Grisha Trilogy. Once I finish reading it, I'll watch the show. I always read the book before watching any adaptation 😊
I read " the silent patient " within two days. The guest list is the next book I'm about to read
Nice!! I've heard good things about The Guest List. Happy reading!!
It's time to buy an abundance of Katherines after your review ❤️...
Can you recommend some books for children to startup with
Just when our hostel decided to call us back, the second wave hit 😢
I started Truly Devious series
Yeah, I can understand the frustrations. Truly Devious is awesome!! Happy Reading 😊
I am also thinking to start this series :)
I'm currently reading the hand on the wall........It's so good....
The others books of the shadowhunter world are also good, do read them too if you liked the infernal devices but I prefer reading them in sequence so you don't get spoilers for other books
I'm not sure if I'll read The Mortal Instruments. I had picked up the first book in that series years ago and I just couldn't finish it. But I'm definitely going to read The Last Hours series because I love the Infernal Devices characters ❤️❤️
Hey 👋
I am a new subscriber. And I already started loving your channel! And could you please recommend books for 14 yr Olds.
Yayy!! Welcome to the Fandom Newbie family. Sure, I'll try to think of some recommendations for that age range and make a video :)
@@fandomnewbie Thanks 😊
Thank you so much shruti....and seriously..things are really getting worse especially in calcutta...
Hope ur doing well..take care!
I know, I keep hearing all the news 😔
Hope you and your family are doing well. Stay safe ❤️❤️
Finally didi is Back with a bang 💥💥
Hehehe, thank you so much ❤️
Hello, I am watching you videos for quite some time and I really like them. I also have soo many Books but I don't have bookshelf to arrange them so I have to keep them in wardrobe.
In this video you talked about the infernal device by Cassandra clare, so I was wondering that if a normal reader can read those books or not?
I mean to ask is the language of the book is too complex or is it normal???
I have read the book named "the silent patient" by Alex Michaelides and the language seems to ok for me (I am telling this because you will get an idea of my reading level.)
If you have read The Silent Patient, then Infernal Devices should be okay. Sometimes the language is a little bit flowery, but overall it is quite easy to understand 😊
Is the subtle art of not giving a f... worth reading or is it overhyped ???
Thank you for the great reccomendations !!!Most of these books were not known to me. Adding in the TBR
I'm so glad! Happy reading ❤️
Thanks a lot for this video shrutz❤️
You will always be my fav booktuber.
Lots of love!!
Thank you so much ❤️
Hi Shruti!so good to know that you are in a relatively safer environment. I totally agree with every single thing you said in your introduction and yes, reading is therapeutic...
Abundance of katherines sounds interesting. Will check it out.thanks!stay safe ❤️😊
Yes, I am very lucky to live in a country where things are more or less normal. Hope you are your family are keeping safe and well ❤️
@@fandomnewbie yes we are good.thank you 😊
Infernal device's trilogy is beginner friendly or not beginner can read this or not pls help????
I have heard so much about Bill Bryson. I really want to read one of his books soon.
Oh I think you will love his writing! He has such a witty, fun writing style!
Hi Sis
How are you?
Love you
I also need to read the Grishaverse Series.
I have a question about the series "You read the Six of Crows duology before reading The Shadow and Bone Trilogy.
Can we read like that?
Does The Six of Crows Duology spoil The Shadow and Bone?
Answer this question Sis
Bye.
❤❤❤😘😘😘
Not at all.. I did the same.. though going in chronological order always helps.. but if you wanna do it this way.. it's perfectly fine
The Six of Crows duology spoils some aspects of the Grisha Trilogy, but nothing major. I read Six of Crows first and could understand everything, so you can do it that way.
But yeah, chronological order helps. So it's totally up to you 😊
Though, I made the video on the very same topic very recently, I am in love with these recs over this video!!!
Yayy! I'm happy to hear 😊
Much needed recommendations.. Thank you so much 😊
You're so welcome ❤️❤️ Hope you and your family are keeping safe and well!
Love your video
Shruti, I know I've commented the same thing on other videos - but another series that any Potterhead HAS to try out is the NEVERMOOR series by Jessica Townsend. It gives you Hogwarts vibes and the writing style is very similar to JK Rowling's... that being said, the story and premise is brilliant and it is supposed to be a 9 part series. Currently, 3 books are out - Nevermoor: The trials of Morrigan Crow, Wundersmith: The calling of Morrigan Crow and Hollowpox:The hunt for Morrigan Crow. I would be super interested in what your thoughts are about Jessica Townsend's world building and characters of the Nevermoor world.
Hey. Thanks for the recommendations
Oh wow! I haven't read that book but I'll add it to my TBR 😊
Your recommendations are amazing🙂
Loved it ❤️
Thank you so much 😊❤️
lord of rings is definitely READ .... I know How I spend my nights reading LOR its freaking awesome...
yet to read other books.. might pick up after this week
Also Thanks for the video idea.... I was thinking to make some things related to it.. probably I will cover short and easy books!!
Yess!! Short and easy books will also definitely help! Hope you're keeping safe..
Isn't LOTR difficult?
@@upkar1444 not all all try audiobooks
Lord of the Rings is definitely tedious. If you are not used to high fantasy, then it can be difficult to get through because the world building is so extensive that the first time I read it, I felt like I was reading a history textbook 😂😂
But once you persist and get through it, everything is worth it! If you do want to read it, I would suggest listening to the audiobook AND following along with the physical to make it easier 😊
Ok. Thanks@@Ronak_blog1
Hi mam I'm an 12 th class student and I love reading I just wanted to ask Is it okay to read 2 books( novel of jane austen) together like im reading persuasion but should I read emma side by side

The type of suggestions that you give for the first 4 minutes is available from so many sources. Had been better if you have restricted your speech to the topic at hand. Thanks.
I am reading Percy Jackson. After that I decided to read heroes of Olympious. Is it good to continue Rick Riordan books or some other?
If you loved Percy Jackson and the Olympians and want more of it, I would say go on and try it .
@@tessa40 hii .. recently I have received the 4rth part of Percy Jackson ..I haven't read the first 4 part...can I just read the 4th part of Percy Jackson ?
@Fearless swiftie , no ofcourse not, you won't get a word of it , this is a series so it needs to be started from the first book as the story's been continued you won't get why specific things are happening that way of you haven't started from Lightning thief.
@@fearlessswiftie6458 you couldn't read any series like that. U will understand nothing
@@tessa40 thank you for advice .
Great video. Thanks. However for people to understan Lord of the rings one must read Hobbit first. Also Hobbit has a BBC dramatised radio show.
Can anyone tell me which book to choose between to kill a mockingbird and paper towns? Which should I read first
I highly recommend all to please read Shrimad Bhagavat Gita and Shri Ram Charitmanas.... these are not mere books but Precious Diamonds🙏🙏🙏🙏
Awesome..! Stay safe...❤️
Thank you!! Hope you are your family and keeping safe as well ❤️
Have you read Divergent series?
Yes I have. Though it was years ago, so I don't remember a lot of details about it 🙈
What a co-incidence, my last video is on a very similar topic!!
Ohh! I'll check it out to see your recommendations as well 😊
Can you plz tell me the names of novel that related to intercast relationship
So you like SciFi and fantasy.... Have you read Hyperion series?
Are you watching shadow and bone in netflix
I'm currently binge reading the Grisha Trilogy. So will watch the show once I'm done with that. I always like to read the book first hehe
Have you read NEVERMOOR-The trials of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend?
Have you ever read Unearthed Love Poems by Youssef Fakhreddine?
I'm not good in public speaking. I'm not confident while I'm recording myself.. like you do .... basically I need something books or courses which helps me to be confident.
Hope you understand my problem. Plz help
Recommend me something plzzz.....
Have you read A Starless Sea?
N.K. Jemisin fantasy books aren't inspired by Tolkien. Jim Butcher The Dresden Files not inspired by Tolkien. Btw some good recommendations.
Well yeah, because both Jemisin and Butcher combine Sci Fi and Fantasy to form quite a unique genre. But I think Tolkien had quite a big role to play in the future of high fantasy books. And I don't mean to take anything away from newer authors when I say that. I just feel it's a testament to the vast detail that Tolkien put in his work that it just makes it inevitable that a lot of fantasy fiction today would have some similarities to LotR.
Can you tell I'm a LotR fangirl? hahaha
@@fandomnewbie Tolkien is the grand daddy of fantasy!! Period. Oh I see The Tolkien Fan Girl 😁 since you liked Tolkien I would recommend you authors who do grand or epic fantasy at par with Tolkien - Tad Williams (Memory, Sorrow and Thorn Series) and John Gwynne (The Faithful and The Fallen Series).
Where are you now?
'Enough! I've heard enough. It's everywhere. I will have to pick up TLOR now', said Ayush half-laughing, half- serious.
Hahaha! yess, please pick up Lord of the Rings 😊😊
Thankuu :-)
You're most welcome!!
Skipped 1st 4 mins to see the book recommendation.
Overwhelming??
Can you pls recommend some books on parallel worlds? Fiction preferably ☺
I haven't read that many books about parallel worlds. The only one I can think of right now is A Darker Shade of Magic by VE Schwab.
The third book of 'the dark artifices' by cassandra clare which is 'The queen of air and darkness' has parallel world elements. Trust me it's so good that you might get addicted.
@@fandomnewbie Will search for the same. Thanks for replying ☺
@@annliyasunny5195 Wow seems interesting. I've found the book on pdf drive, just after your reply. But do I need to read the first 2 books too? BTW Coroline by Neil Gaiman was a great read as well.
@@indigo_rash1122 yeah you will have to read the first two books since it is a series
