  • We get a TON of messages regarding dogs who pull on the leash.
    Prong collars don't replace training.
No, we don't use prong collars to teach new behaviors. This isn't the 19th century. we use positive reinforcement like everyone else and create a fun learning environment for the dogs. As you can tell by beautiful Rubys tail and happiness to work with us in the video.
Common misconceptions over prong collars that they "make dogs scared" or "increase fearfulness" are complete BS.
What are YOU doing to make your dog scared or fearful would be the question? The tool does NOT do that. At least this one. Ive seen head collars make dogs unsure or panicky. Ive seen leashes even stress dogs who weren't leash trained.
But prong collars do not make dogs scared. Full stop.
They also do NOT ruin relationships between you and your dog... this is the silliest thing Ive heard. You know what does ruin it? Not enjoying your walks.
Not being able to set rules and boundaries for fear of your dog not liking you is being a bad dog parent.
Prong collars allow elderly owners or people with knee, elbow or hip injuries to walk their large dog safely.
Prong collars allow kids to walk the large dog safely.
Prong collars prevent your dog from choking on its walks.
Prong collars are not to be used for tying, leaving on 24/7, or grabbing onto.
Always keep a flat collar on your dog to GRAB dog if needed, or as a backup if the prong breaks on a walk.
    Enjoy! No rude comments!
