@22smcrrider96 thanks brother. I had a 2006 R-1 and I could consistently chase first gear wheelies until redline, but this 2021 is insanely more ballsy than my last one. I'll try the clutch up method in second and see what happens. Thanks man!
@@blueprince2330 yea I would recommend that! Clutch up 2nd be less violent! That bike should still easily pull front in 2,3 and prob 4 just get used to it coming up chasing em slowly. That was I learned original. Just power up in 2 and 3 just to get used to how it felt coming up. Just cover that rear brake and don't crash that beauty

@@libingmeme8474 if wheelies is the way you enjoy a bike imagine how much fun you can have using both wheels modern suspension and frame design. Like a burn.out it's pretty mundane and boring after a few minutes. Imagine carving corners actually shifting braking leaning and accelerating on a bike and actually getting skulls improved. To me that is fun
@@rt2255 I do that and sometimes even with my father, my bike's a stock/not built into a stunt bike 600 and my knee sliders aren't untouched. I just throw in the occasional wheelie on top of it all. That said, you can do both and have a bike for each, I'm gonna be getting either a small duke or a sumo as a primary wheelie bike as well. Both "disciplines" require a certain amount of skill.
