Some of these are *not* idiots but resourceful people - cases of "make do and mend", such as that motorbike turned into a road roller (where using a real road roller would not be feasible). Some of the others are cases of "shit happens", like the heavy suitcase with the broken handle (of course you might say the owner has worked his own misery by packing it so heavy, but if the handle breaks off after only *three days* then the suitcase is crap).
