Lamar is from a star cluster in another universe. Once he has a quarter or so to see an opponents defense, he is like a sniper in a bell tower. Amazing.

Ricard touchdown was the same exact play as the likely walk in touchdown.
They made Ramsey look like a fool the entire day.

I really enjoy and appreciate your analysis and breakdown of the highlights. No fake BS reactions, just genuine love for the game. Miami's defense missed way too many tackles early in this game. Bad angles and a lot of arm tackles without wrapping up led to long rushes and lots of YAC. Combine that with lots of breakdowns in the secondary and it was lights out, game over. Baltimore just rolled. Keep up the great work.
The Ricard TD, is the same play they scored the TD on with Likely. What makes the Ravens so dangerous is the same play, plays out completely differently based on the personnel they run with it.

This Raven team is star studded! They can have stars sit out, and still win convincing, as long as its not Lamar. I was surprised that Hamilton was out of this game, and you could hardly tell. They are stacked deep with next man up in D, RB, and some other offensive positions
Project Pat is sneaky athletic. He doesn't always get the chance or run or catch the ball, but when he does, he usually shows out.

Smith's tip on the Stone INT came because DC Macdonald changed up the scheme and simply kept dropping Smith deeper into coverage. Watch the plays that follow the pick with the Ravens defense on the field. Any time Tua drops back Smith drifts about 20 yards back to take away all those completions Tue was getting in the first half.

I'm definitely subscribing so I can learn where each player is one the field. Keep doing the breakdowns. Don't know what a 2 high is but if I keep watching I'll catch up. This is going to be fun.
No way lol! So glad you found my true passion! Two high is just an easy way of seeing what defense is in. To make it easy there are 3 defensive coverages 1 high = cover 1 man or cover 3 zone, 2 high = cover 2 man or cover 2 zone and 4 high = cover 4 zone. It gets more detailed but this is an easy way to see what the defense is in quickly. Hope this helps 👊🏾
Llamar was breaking the coverage. He completely changed how he looks. They studied that 49ers film, and the ravens came up, looking totally different. Then Lamar does crazy shit like coming out, loaded with his left hand, and then switching to being right handed again. Also that Patrick Ricard touchdown was the exact same play as the Isaiah likely fake block. Same play with different personnel. Confuse the defense.
Moving onto Todd Monken. I love his attitude. Step one “be explosive.” it drove me nuts last year. Every time the ravens would get a lead they would just totally put it on half speed and the playcalling just got so tame and we would blow leads constantly. Todd doesn’t give a shit and he just goes hard the whole time. He doesn’t care if it’s three touchdowns up on the opponent, he’s gonna go for three more fucking touchdowns, and just burn the shit out of them.
After the dolphins first drive you woulda thought it would be a long game, ravens said sikeee 🤣
As Ravens fan since 1998, this defense I believe is better or on the same level as the 2000/2007 Ravens defense.
Back then the game was different. Nearly not anywhere near offenses today with total yards per game, etc. But the Ravens are holding opponents to 16 PPG, have the most sacks, most takeaways, and scoring defense, which has never happened. Not even the best defenses of all time have accomplished that.
Combine that with an offense who is ranked 4th in the league, opponents have issues.
Offense wins games.
Defense wins championships.

A total beat down including a td pass from the backup qb and tds from a former all-pro rb from the practice squad, a 300 pound fullback, and the third string tight end. Gordon’s td was sweet. And they could be 16-0. All 3 of their losses they had the game but stupid breakdowns caused the losses. Also it’s nice to see a reaction where the N word isn’t tossed around consistently. Again great reaction and I like the breakdowns of the plays.

On that 75 yard TD, Flowers basically steals a page from Hill's playbook, running in jet motion from the other side and reaching full speed when the ball is snapped. And Lamar sells it completely with his sidestep to the left, holy crap. A perfect play.
Funny thing is Likely and Ricard did the exact same play and got the exact same result! TD! They just switched the person and worked both times. Basically walk in TD

@BigR365 Your vid came up on my feed this morning. The word "watching" in the title had me pay attention and very glad I did. Your calm, cool, and objective analysis was both informative and entertaining. There are two things I want to bring your attention to.
First, Ravens on offense at 3:09 left in the 2nd qtr, the TD pass to flowers. Watch Lamar very closely. Nobody knew this until the Dolphins talked about it after the game. Lamar saw the edge on the left coming at him, he pivots to that side. What we didn't see is him putting the ball in his left hand and preparing to throw it. It happens in a blink. But, the Dolphin's edge guy saw it and hesitated for that blink. You saw what happened next.
Second. The defense. Decosta traded for Smith last year after that Dolphins' game in which the D blew a big lead in the 4th qtr. The trade wasn't just because of his talent, but because his work ethic mirrored that of a pair of Ravens named Lewis and Reed. The reason Zay was open because Lamar started out like he was about to throw left.. but that foot work switched and threw it right
if you look real close, 66 facemasks the dolphins lineman who was in position to make the play on that 3rd in 16 screen but the quick facemask kept him from moving that step he was trying to take.

I love my Ravens, Baltimore is so hype right now, But, We still have a lot of work to do. The Chiefs are a good team, but I think as long as The Ravens stayed locked in, and do what they’ve been doing all season, we should be just fine.

I got a tip though, if you’re going to hit your desk all the time I would move your microphone because every time you put your cup down or hit your desk and tap your keyboard my subwoofer goes nuts. Also, there may be a button on your microphone but there’s definitely ways in Final Cut or however you edit videos that you can roll off low frequencies so that booming deep bass is eliminated. Peace
