Nokia 6 Teardown Repair Guide Steps:
    Step 1
    • Power down your Nokia 6 smartphone.
    Step 2
    • Eject the SIM card and microSD card tray.
Step 3 (Nokia 6 Display Assembly)
    • The 5.5-inch Nokia 6 display assembly is glued on solidly. Apply heat to soften the adhesive.
    • Use the precision knife to create enough space to insert a playing card.
    • With the playing card slice through the adhesive and carefully decouple the Nokia 6 screen from the phone.
    • The display assembly is still connected to the Nokia phone, so don’t try to remove it entirely just yet.
    • Remove the following Phillips screws securing the bracket that covers the display cable.
    • With the bracket out of the way, detach the cable from motherboard and free the Nokia 6 display assembly.
Step 4 (Nokia 6 Home Button with Fingerprint Scanner and Cables for the Bottom Buttons)
    • Disconnect the battery from the motherboard.
    • Remove the following Phillips screw and small bracket.
    • Peel up the assembly that includes the capacitive home button with fingerprint scanner and the cables for the bottom buttons.
Step 5 (Nokia 6 Metal Midframe)
    • Remove the following 18 Phillips screws. The screws are different sizes so be sure to keep them organized.
    • Extricate the metal Nokia 6 midframe.
    Step 6 (Nokia 6 Battery)
    • The battery is adhered to the back of the metal frame. Locate the two peel-to-remove adhesive tabs on the side of the Nokia 6 battery. Grab the first tab and try to keep the adhesive strip flat and wide.
    • Slowly and gently pull each strip up and away from the metal frame. The strips will stretch to many times the length of the battery- keep pulling until they come out from between the battery and the frame.
    • And just like that, the 3.84-volt, 3000 milliampere-hour (mAh) Nokia 6 battery is free.
    Step 7 (Nokia 6 Motherboard)
    • Remove the metal bracket and detach the Nokia 6 power and volume buttons cable, 3.5mm headphone jack cable, and signal cable from the motherboard.
    • Remove the following 6 Phillips screws.
    • Use the spudger to detach the connector on the underside of the motherboard and then carefully lift it out of the rear case.
    Step 8 (Nokia 6 Rear-Facing Camera and Front-Facing Camera)
    • Disconnect the 16-megapixel Nokia 6 rear-facing camera from the motherboard.
    • Remove the 8-megapixel Nokia 6 front-facing “selfie” camera.
Step 9 (Nokia 6 Micro-USB Port and Primary Microphone)
    • Use the tweezers to disconnect the signal cable.
    • Remove the following 4 Phillips screws.
    • With the spudger in hand, pry up the daughterboard. It includes the micros-USB port and primary microphone.
Step 10 (Nokia 6 Loudspeaker and Vibrator)
    • Extract the Nokia 6 loudspeaker.
    • Pluck out the spring-contact-connected vibrator.
    * To reassemble your device, follow the steps in reverse orde

    • @jspringsgeorge
      @jspringsgeorge Před 7 lety +1

all nokia sold in India is made in India. As foxconn India is setting up production for IPhones too, not sure if made in India Nokias will be available globally or not. Well, you don't need to worry about fakes if made in India.

Once opened the adhesive won't be able to hold the phone together for long time. old is gold.

Once you open the device for repair, we would recommend reapplying adhesive to avoid this issue. Thank you for watching!
