Wrapping the wires like that, you're basically creating a coil. Also, the hanging chain has no earth connection to it. It wouldn't pass BS

What thickness/kind of metal did you use to make the strapping?

@@DIYFixMan I was looking for something like 1/8" steel. Not sure what 15 x 15 means.

This shows literally none of the parts that actually matter in a tutorial. No wire splicing, no details on the type of wire or gauge, no measurements.

Just a showcase video no instruction no source for materials. Didn't even show measurments.

you have to do some shopping and researching for yourself. Look up chains, pendant light fixtures, metal or aluminum bars, wood stain, routers, sanders or sanding paper, black spray paint. Measurements???....that's a 4x4. C'mon

@@teresa6775 yeah that was the purpose for watching this video. Apart of research and shopping was to find videos that inform you what products were used and where to find them. Ohh yes measurements are important....especially if you can't tell a 4x4 from a 3x3...yeah that's a 3x3. Cheers to you if you found this video helpful. I did not, most also would not and my message was to help those looking for the same thing I was so they don't waste thier time.

I did it myself. I used Woodprix woodworking plans for this.
