- Note: This is just my personal expression of knife-throwing and theres a lot of ways to throw a knife.
I took what I know about throwing and applied it to the problem: how do I do this throw. I want all my instinctive throws to work using the same principals.
Take information with a grain of salt. Some people's advice didnt work for me. I could be that person for you.

This channel is criminally Underrated
Some people say the conventional no spin isn't really Nospin since it makes a ¼ of a spin in the air, so reverse grip Nospin would be the actual Nospin since it goes out of the hand straight like an arrow and keeps the fly straight just like that
Awesome channel dude!
I can finally learn how to throw like Rolf Retsel
Very good, I like your style of reverse grip. I've been throwing no spin & half spin for quite some time. I tried your method of reverse grip & it really helped me. Thanks
Really happy to hear it helped my friend! Thanks for watching!
Working on it brother ❤ this is my station finally so some throwers who wanted video of to help and see my style I love your wave style though 🙏🗡️🎯🇨🇦
Nice job man! Thanks for taking the time to share it.
My pleasure! Hope you got some value out of it
Nice throwing! Your relaxed body motion(wave) is awesome.
For me the key for it, is to use the back space as more as I can. That way I can utilize angular velocity via pulling forces the most.
Thank you! Its an honor! I agree! Its fun to see how much of an impact a few degrees behind can make! Thanks for the comment!
Awesome, good instructor!
As a new instinctive thrower, i feel it's necessary to play with odd angles and grips. Even having the blade sideways.. but i wouldn't suggest practicing those until you've become used to the rebounds. There will be a blade flying at your face on numerous occasions! lol.
All that aside, this is an awesome video and earned a subscribe. I feel it's very important to hear many perspectives from many levels. There is no answer, especially with "instinctive"..
Very valid points. I cant really recommend starting that close, or really doing anything, but I can show what im doing. Thanks for the thoughtful comment!
@yeet_cleaver i hope my comment didn't read as if i meant to offer you advice. I'm learning from you. My comment was directed at new throwers, including myself!
@@atrocious_pr0xy no you’re good bro! I thought you had a great point! It’s something I thought about after posting this video.
I don’t think I talked enough about ricochet. Had plenty of close calls myself 😂 anyway, safety is for everyone I think!
Man you are really talented. What method of throwing is your favorite
I like it🤘🏼 Where/how/from who did u learn?
I started with Yuri Fedin's book and still consider myself a student of his teaching and knifestyle. Currently doing research on other throw styles, working on my own style, teaching my kid, and finding my own path. 🥋 Oss
