Mutually complementary - tranquil soundscapes within a picturesque landscape; the initial tinkling piano notes suggesting the melting of nocturnal dewdrops and pre-dawn mist which herald the approach of the warm rays of the early morning sun.Then as the music builds, a glorious sunrise is experienced. Luke, you are without a doubt a past master in the creation of sound pictures; in this respect a virtuoso of note. I salute you yet once again.

A very beautifully structured piece that conveys that beautiful and tranquil feeling we all get when watching the sun rise, which is one of my favorite things in life. I rise early every single day and watch the sun come up if there are no clouds obscuring my view. This music is perfect for it and has a New Age feeling. Luke, thank you for creating this. I have lost my mother this year on January 30th to ALS. This is helping me mourn her and the troubles between my family members that still occur. But ultimately, your piece reminds me of the most beautiful, most giving, and most faithful person she was in this life. 🙏

Why does good piano music always make me want to cry?
A nice tranquil piece, Luke. That piano is pretty mellow and fits well thematically. It amazes me that you can get these pianos outdoors so often, let alone play sat on a dining table chair!

You know what, I love that you have the sheet music in front of you in your video! Why are pianists expected to play everything from memory? Its like being asked to recite a novella, word for word from memory. Sure, I know the story, but could I nail every single word, pause, phrase, intonation on the spot for 5 minutes straight, and then multiply by 100s of stories??
I see you in the comments of lots of my pieces Luke. You should do a cover of one. Not trying to pressure you though, just saying everyone would like. But always keep doing what you love.👍

Hello Luke, this is an amazing composition and I've been learning it recently, but I've got a question. What is the technique you perform at 2:49 and at other parts throughout the piece to reach those 10ths? I love the way it sounds, with part of the chord kind of delayed. Is it merely about careful timing of the damper pedal?

Déjà je veux que tu saches que mon commentaire est juste là pour donner mon avis et il n'y a rien de méchant dans ce que je vais dire, mais je trouve que tu devrais te diversifier de temps en temps car les morceaux se ressemble parfois un peu trop souvent à mon goût. Moi même faisant du piano je comprends cette difficulté mais vu ton talent je penses que tu as tout intérêt à le faire ! Cela ne veut pas dire que les musiques ne sont pas belles attention :) sinon comme d'hab j'ai posé mon like et j'espère que tu liras mon commentaire

Also, I never wondered, but do you live in a castle? Haha. Or do you haul the piano out to a public spot early in the morning to record it there? I'm always fascinated by the logistics of piano videos likes these.
Thanks, as always, Guido! Haha, I do live in a castle (or at least part of it). The piano is stored in a loggia, the arches of which you can see in the shot at 0:58, and I just wheel it out on a trolley with the help of my brother. Takes about 2 minutes.
