The longest belts Taka's done (that I've known) was 30seconds during Eye of the Storm Japan Tour 2020

1 O' CLOCK or ONE OKROCK is their band name.
Its because theybused to practice at 1oclock am cause the studios were cheaper at night or very early in the morning.
    The Japanese cant pronounce L.
    They pronounce it R.
    So ONE OKROCK. 1 O'clock.

35xxxv is pronounced "thirty-five," and XXXV is 35 in Roman numerals.
Suggest you also check out their performance of this song at Ambitions Japan Tour or Mighty Long Fall at Yokohama Stadium. He usually does a long tone for that note. Also try "Heartache" from this same performance for a good rock ballad.

In recent lives, Taka pull out that long note even longer. Like it is crazy how he can do this!

Taka's voice is like a fusion of a ballad/pop singer + powerful rock vocalist..that's how amazing his range is..although his voice is naturally high pitched

New to your channel. Found you because of One OK Rock. I have been following them for about 10 years and am so happy to see other people finding them.
I think you will find their older material is often “harder” with more Japanese, but it is all awesome! 35 (fyi XXXV=35) felt like a transition from their older hard rock to their more produced sound they have had since (imo). Again, I’m a fan of it all.

There's a Korean CZcams channel where the man running it was former trainer at a Japanese idol agency that Taka had been under for a short while (Johnny's the agency name iirc). Yeah, might be unbelievable but its what it is. Taka's parent (which by the way were both famous enka singers in Japan, in short some kinda traditional way of singing by straining the cord to express more emotional colors) put him there when he said he wanna get serious 'bout music until Ryota and Toru convinced him along to quit from there to just form a band instead.
The trainer mentioned that the way Taka trained his vocals has been more or less abandoned cuz it could've easily damages the cord with a single mistake in such a young age. Most idols, in Japan and Korea, are trained to focus either in specific tone or type of singing or rap, but he alternate between building crisp, clean tone and putting scratches while still applying some of his parent's enka typical strains, as early as his teenage years.
