- Jonny Lieberman takes the SRT Challenger Core to the track for his one episode limited engagement at the helm of the World's Fastest Car Show. Reminiscent of its famous counterpart the General Lee, the orange 2013 Challenger Core, strangely enough, brings out a side of Jonny that is somewhat reminiscent of his absent hosting counterpart.

He murdered the name of the challenger. This car is more than a cheap german accent the challenger deserves better than this. Shame on you Motor Trend
thats apparently meant to be an english accent, as the place he mentioned is on the south coast of England, which really makes it even worse

I think he just nailed it. The opening was hilarious, and he just kept being silly. I stumbled on this, because I've seen it before, but I remembered it was funny. I really was, and he makes such good fun of the other car reviewer. "Bob's your uncle!"
That car deserved a serious review. Shameful.
I have a sense of humor, but this is just obnoxious. More time focused on the stupid joke, than the car. Awful..

The producers thought it was hysterical. In fact, you can even hear one of them laughing on the track. As for a review of the Challenger, Carlos did an Ignition episode last season. Google it.

The last time I tried to do that I was 1) 20 years younger 2) 30 pounds lighter 3) not wearing slacks and 4) cars seemed to have larger greenhouse areas.

Yes Two of them. For obvious reasons I love the Viper we tested, and for pure WTF SUV driving the Jeep was amazing. The SRT guys are killing it right now. JB
What are you guys talking about, Jonny filled in perfectly. He did the exact same thing that Justin does and that is to talk about a car for 6 minutes without telling you absolutely anything meaningful about it.

I don't know why people are getting all angry about this episode. I thought it was hilarious. I'm really happy that MotorTrend aren't all serious and boring and love an old fashioned fuck around. Keep doing stuff like this MotorTrend. Its funny.
All new is a strong phrase to use seeing that its the same body, chassis, suspension, engine, interior, etc. Its just tuned differently and has some nice add-ons. We have to wait until 2015 for the all new Challenger.

Whoa didn't expect Jonny Lieberman to be a surprise host lol. This was awesome! I laughed my ass off and I still learned cool stuff about the car. This was obviously a parody so it wasn't really made to be taken too seriously, why so many dislikes?

Once he started driving I was so hoping he was going to start talking seriously and give a real review. This car deserves a serious review like its competitors you've done in the past. IDK, maybe you feel this car is not worthy of it's competitors.

srt: 4160 lb
ss: 4172 lb
gt: 3618 lb
In a straight line the numbers from car and driver are as follows.
srt: 0-60: 4.5 1/4 mi: 12.9
ss: 0-60: 4.8 1/4 mi: 13
gt: 0-60: 4.6 1/4 mi: 13.2
on the track the posted times at the Virginia int raceway are
srt:3:09.4
ss:3:09.5
gt:3:08.6
TLDR not the heaviest, fastest on the strip, competitive on track.
