Japanese spurge? It’s pachysandra, which looks great by itself around a tree, say, but for heaven sakes don’t let it get near your flower garden. It will creep slowly but relentlessly into your beds, and yanking out those thick underground runners will also yank out any plant that have fallen prey to it.
I can’t believe this poster doesn’t say anything about the invasive nature of about a third of these recommendations. No caveats whatever.
Bugleweed is a weed.
So is Periwinkle/Vinca Minor.
But it is also a beautiful groundcover. Especially chocolate chip ajuga.
