      Wintercreeper is, as well, in some zones. Even where it's not, it will crowd out native plants that would be beneficial.

    Your Sweet Woodruff info card at 13:12 minutes says " Boxwood". I was collecting some info about many suggestions. You may already know. Thanks, great info. Very helpful!

    Can you please make a list for zone 10, more sunny parts of the US? All of the plants in your list are for lower zones 😢

    • @PlantDoHomeGarden
      @PlantDoHomeGarden  Před 3 měsíci +6

      Thank you for your feedback, and I apologize for the oversight. Creating a list tailored for Zone 10, especially for those sunny areas, is a great idea. Here are some evergreen ground cover plants that thrive in Zone 10's warmer climate:
      Lantana montevidensis - Offers colorful flowers and thrives in full sun.
      Trailing Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis 'Prostratus') - Great for sunny spots, with the bonus of aromatic leaves.
      Sedum 'Gold Mound' - Drought-tolerant and provides beautiful golden foliage.
      Ice Plant (Delosperma cooperi) - Vibrant flowers and excellent heat tolerance.
      Creeping Thyme (Thymus serpyllum) - Hardy and drought-resistant, perfect for sunny areas.
      Jasmine Minima (Trachelospermum asiaticum) - Hardy, low-maintenance, and offers beautiful foliage.
      Beach Sunflower (Helianthus debilis) - Native to Florida, it loves the sun and is drought-tolerant.
      Blue Daze (Evolvulus glomeratus) - Offers lovely blue flowers and enjoys full sun.
      We'll strive to include a wider range of zones in our future content to better serve all gardeners. Thanks again for your suggestion, and happy gardening in Zone 10! 😊💚"

      Japanese spurge? It’s pachysandra, which looks great by itself around a tree, say, but for heaven sakes don’t let it get near your flower garden. It will creep slowly but relentlessly into your beds, and yanking out those thick underground runners will also yank out any plant that have fallen prey to it.

    • @paulstrickler5684

      I can’t believe this poster doesn’t say anything about the invasive nature of about a third of these recommendations. No caveats whatever.
