    Translation from Diangan and Cebuano lyrics:
    Forever new
    The unchangeable beauty of Your presence
    Gives me strength
    You are holy, God of all
    Praise be Your name
    I will praise You
    Praise the Lord!

    Ive seen the version of SMMC of this song.... By comparison, I personally think this is by far the best rendition of the song. The lady soloist is just awesome and epic... overall performance was great.....

    Amazing! This sounds like a curse or a prayer. Definitely stuff of fantasy. Somebody use this in a fantasy film. The constant rumble of the bass gave me goosebumps!

      If tama po ang alala ko, it is a worship song po based on one of the tribes in the Philippines. It was Ken Betil who composed this song basing it on that chant. Tapos hinaluan ng bisaya and tagalog hehehehe

    Ach so Herr Rabus, this work was made by Excelsis Betil and revised by her teacher Eudenice Palaruan. I could still be wrong tho'

      Actually I think Sir Eudy made a shorter version of Ken Betil's composition for the San Miguel Master Chorale (the arrangement that we used in this compet) hihihi

    Pinoy folk song ba ito? sounds chinese to me :)

    • @nutmitchiko
      @nutmitchiko Před 4 lety +1

      It is not really a folk song. If I am not mistaken, it is a worship song combining tagalog, bisaya and diangan in one arrangement.
