I bought mine at a home improvement store as a small plant. It was about $3. I didn't realize it's rarity until I looked it up today. I guess I'm a lucky one😅
I bought one today at Walmart for 18.00, ive been looking for this special one two seasons now Now I have to learn how to take care if it, shes beautiful already, shes medium sized too👏🏽👏🏽 great video 😍

I bought one as a seedling only 2 leaves and about 8cm high. It's alive but not growing at all. How long did it take you to grow it? Could really need help.
@@anwarallie They can size up more quickly than that, but it will depend on the conditions. My first year was somewhat unproductive because it was eaten by spider mites, and I wasn't fertilizing it regularly.
Just got my first Cuprea todaya! Great video. Subscribed. What is your method to prop the corms? I'm using a prop box with perlite and it's been a struggle to say the least. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

I think it is like 6 or 8 inches
Why do the leaves turn down and away from the lights? The stems are firm and it’s growing a flower but it’s constantly turning downward

I put them in a box with moss, and I kind of forget about them.
@@plantastix any time I’ve tried to prop in a box, I get mold 😞 what am I doing wrong

equal parts miracle grow, perlite, and vermiculate.
I have tried so hard to like that plant, but it is so alien looking, and I think I am going to pass. I love the growth on it though.
