the more i think about this the more i struggle, like i know my vote is not nearly as important as i used to think, but it's hard for me to not do harm reduction as opposed to acting with moral clarity when i know it will not make anything better. either way i don't think much will change and ultimately the working class will have to organize and unionize, or subject themselves to the whims of corporate masters

@@tm3m It’s fear. Whether you realize it or not that’s all it is. It’s fear & I speak from personal experience. In 2016, while waiting in line to vote & I was going to vote Green, I got to the voting machine & I remember thinking, “What if Trump wins?” I became reluctant & started thinking maybe I should vote for HRC to stop Trump. Then I remembered the numerous states where the primary was blatantly rigged & how hard Bernie supporters busted their butts for nothing & then I thought to myself, “Forget this. No more” & I voted for Dr. Jill Stein & all leftist 3rd party/Ind candidates running in down ballot races. I’ve never regretted that vote. In fact, I’ve been voting on ballot initiatives & for ONLY 3rd party/Ind candidates from top to bottom of the ballot in every election since. Now I realize my reluctance was simply fear of Republicans and you should remember there’s always going to be a Republican in the race.

Cut military spending by 80% Put that money into heath, education and public infrastructure. Drop Israel support completely.

Dr. Stein, has my vote. I encouraged anyone who cares about people, the environment, peace, justice and equal rights should vote for Jill Stein. The 2 major parties have the same foreign policy and is corrupted and controlled by the Israeli lobbyists.

Thank you Geopolitical Economy Report for having Jill Stein on. Yes, the Green Party USA has ballot access in most states and that makes a real difference when anyone goes to vote. We have to convince those who don't vote. It understandable when the non voters says, "They put in whomever the hell they want." It is of my opinion that when the non voter believes that there is a chance to break the duopoly, they would register to vote.

I've been asking Jill for many months now to show us her housing plan, but can find nothing of the sort. While I'm fully on board with her anti-war, anti-corruption, pro-equality, and pro-green-economy stances, I don't see how she can win without proving to the people that she is concerned about their everyday lives. She mentions housing every now and then, saying she wants to make housing affordable, but apparently has no plan that could actually do that. If she had a real plan that would comprehensively address the sordid roots of our dysfunctional land & housing system, instead of yet another housing plan that futilely attempts to address only symptoms (like RFK's plan), her chances of getting everyday Americans on board would greatly increase.

The fact that she's not a socialist but a "democrat" says everything. Just America heading towards social democracy, really. It starts off honest enough, but give em a decade and they'll just be like the Scandinavian sellout parties.
Why should the socialists appease these people? Always fall in line with their cause in order to strengthen some move towards a more equitable future. They should see socialism already has the answers and come over to us. Why should we always humor them and their idea of change? Michael is my main reason in supporting Jill and I think he’s important to explain the economic question of how the spending of government works and why people in government still talk about we can’t afford it, when his book superimperialism gave the impression that we have unlimited amounts to spend in the federal government

Suggestion , one step at a time . Please focus on just the take down of democrats from the Congress to the WH and then once we have reached a competitive polls , then focus on the republicans. While taking down the democrats , please avoid alienating the Republican voters, as our next step would be to convince them to leave the Republican Party

The Green Party should NOT be taken seriously UNTIL their federal strategy focuses as much, if not MORE, on electing candidates to the U.S. House as it does on electing a President and getting 5% in the Presidential election. It would be a lot easier for them to win some House seats in House districts surrounding college towns than winning the top office in the land, and after years I have come to resent the Green Party for obsessing over the Presidency and 5% to get federal money and ignoring everything else. If they just got 5 candidates in the House they would increase public awareness of the Green Party and wield some actual political power in a closely divided Congress, but no, every 4 years this FANTASY of electing a 3rd Party President is their fixation. START WITH CONGRESS FIRST if you want a realistic strategy. This would’ve been the perfect year for some upset wins in House districts near colleges; Greens might’ve won 10 seats running “anti-genocide candidates.” You aren’t getting any support from me until I see a serious strategy.
