I tell you this, it was a total cluster fuk for JSO to keep traffic tied up for 4 hours and to close all three NB lanes for that amount of time was ridiculous. They could have opened two lanes by looks of video. I was stuck in traffic for the whole duration. Every exit you took to escape the traffic wasn't any better and no cops were around to direct traffic. Way to go Mayor Donna Deagan! Half tank of gas wasted!
This has nothing to do with Mayor Deegan. JSO and JFRD regularly shut down entire sections / all lanes for accidents. Depending on the road and size of the issue, it is highly debatable at times on if it's really necessary to block all flow of traffic. I understand it's done to protect work crews and preserve the scene. At the same time, I do agree it can be overkill. For example, several years ago I personally saw emergency services block off three lanes (two going east and one across a small median going west) for a vehicle that was parked on the right shoulder of the east. That was at UNF Drive connecting to Beach Boulevard. Everytime I go by there, there's barely anyone to no one going that way, making blocking off the entire entry way to the campus completely unnecessary. Luckily I didn't have to go that direction, but I sure knew that screwed with college students going to class.
@@sadjaxx It's not just an "inconvenience" for a single person. It's many thousands of people and companies. Being stuck somewhere for 4 hours can be life threatening for hundreds of others. All because of 1 person. I've seen multiple times entire interstates shut down for several miles with no detour, holding everyone hostage. What should be a quick daily commute can turn into a nightmare of unforeseen consequences. The "what if" game can be played all day. What if they were diabetic and needed food? Or in general needed to take medication at certain times that's currently at the house that they should have had plenty of time to get to but now can't? What if they had to pick their child up from school/daycare/babysitter? What if they had to go to the bathroom? What if they had to make a deadline of some sort, like catching a flight or a business transaction? What if they were trying to get to a hospital for a procedure that took months of planning and scheduling? Etcetera, Etcetera. Not everything in everyone's life can be delayed because 1 person died. Millions of people die everyday, several the same way this person did by being involved in a shooting / car crash (two of the most common ways to die). Luckily this incident had alternative (yet out of the way) routes nearby. However, it's also not just a problem for those on the highway/interstate either, but also for the surrounding communities with lower occupancy roads now inundated and overcapacity. Some of these roads, especially those in neighborhoods and depending on local soil, are not rated for large heavy vehicles, of which either can't fit or are way too heavy which can cause road deterioration and collapse of sewer / water pipes below. My own neighborhood here has signs posted saying no vehicles over gvw 26,000 lbs local deliveries only. A single large dump truck carrying any load is over that limit. Now imagine a fully loaded semi carrying twice that much on top of hundreds of cars sitting in bumper to bumper traffic over several hours. Small roads can't handle those extreme pressures.
They will find who shot at him. There are traffic cameras on one end of that bridge and on the other. They are traffic cameras all over above your head on the interstate. So you will be caught they tracking you and him on that trout river bridge. They saw him hit the truck they can see you driving away? It’s on video dude. You might as well turn your self in.
I’m giving your information to the police in Jacksonville you definitely know something don’t you ? It’s all good Jacksonville gon pay you a visit Soon we know the description of the vehicle 👌🏾

They were detouring on Lem Turner. I knew there was way too much traffic there had to be an accident somewhere.
Well how awful you were inconvenienced. I am sure that poor dead soul is just so sorry that his murder HELD YOU UP!
