Great beginner Rc boat here @ a great value as well! Really couldn’t find anything I didn’t like about it! I didn’t want to like the stick controller as I usually prefer trigger styled controllers, but everything worked well and as it should!

NICE!! This was everything as described and more. After a few uses I realized that my 6 year old was too young to operate because it is so fast.
But I will use it with him when we visit on occasion. I give the boat and manufacturer a 10 and two thumbs up!

Hey, thank you Dave! I appreciate the sentiments and re-subbing my channel. You may not have received much content from me in the past several weeks because I haven’t put any new content out in the past several weeks. I’ve had a ton going on with Work, home maintenance and promises to members of my family that I had to keep. So, the Rc uploads have had to get put on the back burner. I should be putting new content up this coming week. I totally respect you and what it must take to upload content so consistently like you do. It’s got to be tough balancing all of it. I’m still trying to figure out how other channels do it!🤪🤩

Really close by. This pond at Colby collage is a man made pond. Riddled with algae, but really close by. I would not swim in it, but for the boat it’s fine! Absolutely not 20mph. Its a translation issue these Chinese manufacturers use to their advantage. Its 20kmh which is like 12mph. I own/have owned a few of these brushed motor Chinese made Amazon rebranded boats. The originals are sold on straight from China sites like Banggood. As for this boat I want to say its a JJRC but they are using an outdated Tamiya style battery connector. I had the DeeRC rebrand off Amazon, which used an SM-2P battery connector.
Hey there Justin! Really can’t disagree with you. Your correct about all of it . It’s still nonetheless a pretty sweet boat for the the $$. They always seem to make higher performance claims than what the product will actually do. They may get that speed or very close to it by running tests with a 3s lipo, in perfect conditions, and package it and send it to us with a 2s li-ion battery and still keep the claim it will do 20mph. I don’t appreciate the deception either, but that’s what these review channels are for🤪😎💪🏼. To show people the truths or false reality behind some of their claims. Awe man I’m sorry that happened! Is it possible that the rudder got turned by hand or bumped into when removing it from the box? Forcing the rudder to turn by hand can damage the servo.Maybe replacing the servo ?
Mine is doing the same thing... the rudder is turning both directions full rate but the boat does not turn sharp left it only turns sharps right. Very strange.
@@yomama5521 have you adjusted steering trim and steering dual rate?
@@BangForYourBuckRc yes I have adjusted all those settings. I originally was running the boat in my pool, I went to the pond and it seemed to work better when I had it in the open water. I think because of the prop wash and the directiin the prop is spinning, it just doesn't turn as easily to the left. It is almost like it takes a sec or two for the boat to start turning left and once it starts you need a little more room for it to yaw to the left and dig in to the water. Hope this helps. I love this little rc boat and I ordered another so I will see if it is the same when I get it.

Can you use this boat in saltwater? The bay is the closest body of water next to me.
I don’t recommend it. Sorry! I know people have videos out there of running their cars and boats through saltwater, but you still have exposed metal parts as well as brass. Plus taking in salt through your water cooler would build up after a while. Unless you are willing to do the cleaning maintenance every time after. Fresh water flush and rinse, coating your metal parts with Wd-40 or equivalent. And your motor itself taken out and ran in fresh water . It’s a pain in the butt, but re-assures longevity in the end.
