Hormuz is a small island situated in the Strait of Hormuz. The island experiences little to no rainfall and as a result is very dry! Not so dry in this video though :P

I would love to. I live in America and have always been told that iran is terrorist country. After watching your video I see that is another lie our government tells us. The people there seem very friendly and down to earth. It would be an amazing adventure!

My wife and i have visited Iran five times and we loved every second of it , our very first trip abroad was actually there , the people are beautiful , the culture is beautiful , the country is beautiful , the music and the food are awesome as well , basically Iran is gorgeous and anyone should visit atleast once in their lifetime if they can and i guarantee that they won't be disapointed with that descision , so good luck have an awesome time and to Iran and the iranian people : me and my wife wish you well and sending you our apreciation for the amazing time we spend in your country as well as our gratitude for inviting us in your homes and sharing your table , meal and precious time with us . Is it safe to visit Iran?
@@lou3806 Yes , it is a very safe country , just learn the dos and don'ts in there and you will be ok . My wife and i never had any problems whrn we visited and if anything , locals will try their best to assist you , atleast this was our expirience . We visited again last year for a wedding a friend and even with protests going in the country we had no issues , aside from a longer background check but we were clear and had no problems traveling after that .
Iran is glorious. I say this as an American who's been there and was treated better than I was anywhere else. Such a shame that a beautiful country like Iran is relatively cut off from the rest of the world...

Yes, I have heard many good things about Hormuz island from tourists. It is obviously one of the most beautiful islands in Asia with spectacular scenaries. Iran, New Zealand and Italy are the most beautiful countries in the world: very clean, amazing food and very hospitable and friendly people. Any tourist must put Iran on his itinarary.

My job in Iran was river and Dam engineer I can give some information about the most beautiful places I have ever seen in Iran if you are looking for coloured Mountains you should definitely see Mahneshan just google it enchanting every viewer if you want to discover mysterious caves you should go to Qeshm and visit calcite caves and also Alisadr in Hamedan, Masal and Heyran also one the most beautiful places in Iran there are so many places I can name also you shouldn't miss Khansar I would be pleased to answer any questions you have at anytime

Thank you for your positive input toward a land that USA has been labeling as a terrorist and hateful region. As you have mentioned, Iran is loaded with ancient history , welcoming and friendly people and so much more beauty. it is safer than most other countries and definitely safer than wild Wild West USA.

Hey Lee, Dude, When you have to pay 6 or 200 times the amount that locals pay to visit, it's because the price is calculated based on foreigners' income. By paying the sites when you visit, you're actually helping them to maintain that site and also create more tourism-related jobs for the locals. Especially in an Island like Hormuz it's really important to support the locals.

First of all I'm enjoying your videos! thanks for sharing them. I don't know if you know it by now or not but because you mentioned it several times in your videos it's better to know that the difference between the tickets prices in sight-seen for Iranian and tourists is due to the low annual income of the locals, our government gives locals some subsides in the tickets prices otherwise they are not able to do anything! the prices are already cheap in compare to other part of the world. I would appreciate if tourists can understand this, and by buying the tickets try to helping the economics of locals. No dept that Iran is one of the cheapest destination this days.

Well i should mention best time to visit the island is after rain because rainbow maintain or better say whole island looks more colorful , learn that in a hard way hiking the island for the first time in the middle of summer everything was covered with a layer of dust nothing looked interesting all disappoinment
