Excellent. you would be careful with the abrasives and use the diamond medium most likely. Try the soft stone and glass kit for your needs.

What is this hole puncher called?
What size hole can be drilled by using this vise?
The guide hole is for 1mm pilot holes. For larger holes, drill a pilot hole first using the guide hole, then turn your piece so the hole on your piece faces one of the open sides of the Vise, then drill the larger hole using the bit of your choice (according to the material). The first pilot hole you drilled should "guide" your larger bit as you're drilling, so it will ensure a straight path. Hope this helps!

Can you do this on a crystal quartz???
Yes, just make sure you use Diamond drilling bits.

Yes you can use it on ALL Gemstones including Crystals
i want to drill beads that are 5mm in diameters.
