Novotel Ahmedabad is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. As a guest, one can have breakfast either at the Premier Lounge or the Restaurant (The Square) depending on your room category and inclusions. At the Premier Lounge, you get almost the same dishes and you can also ask them to make something for you, the service is more customized and the crowd is lesser. At the restaurant which is named 'The Square', you can get the entire buffet spread and also have live food counters to order dosa, puri and chhole, eggs, etc.
There's a separate counter for tea where Mr. Kishan makes the best tea!
The buffet spread includes so many items that it is nearly impossible to taste each and every dish. They also have some local dishes like patra and fafda.
To maximise physical distancing and as a mark of the excellent hospitality served by Novotel, they try to get you anything that you want after you have settled on your table so you don't need to get up again, not mingle with others without a mask and enjoy your breakfast while the restaurant staff would bring you whatever you need.
I've had such an experience earlier at The Leela, Goa where I just couldn't taste each and every dish which was offered in the buffet breakfast.
