- Holy hell, Christina Kowalchuk's performance for this character was off the charts! I give this a 11/10!
And i think she's also Italian (or Italian descent?), which adds to the point for regional voice acting.
EN dubbing once again surprising me with their directions. Hope we get more quality like this!

@@Zliarx Literally, the only bad thing about the EN VA is the fact that she couldnt manage to do the laughs. Her laughs are soulless as they can be. Other than that, she sounds near identical. The Italian accent even elevated it so much that you can nearly ignore how bad the laughs are.

Holy hell, the VA did such a wonderful job! Portraying deranged characters is, in my opinion, one of the hardest things to do, and yet she pulled it off, Italian accent and all!

i must say she really did an awesome job, despite im not a fan on eng va. As an italian though, i just don't want that people from other nationalities think that's how italian is really spoken. I mean, it may be just an opinion but it gave a really weird accent. ( if that was her intention all along, chef kiss xD )

@@Steve-rv5mk concordo in pieno. l'italiano che parla la doppiatrice è proprio come lo parlerebbe uno straniero appunto. L'unica cosa che mi potrebbe dispiacere è che la gente pensi che quello di Lappland sia l'italiano vero.... cosa che non è... poi tra accento e pronuncia non c'è tutta sta GRAN differenza. anche consultando un dizionario, non lascia molto spazio all'interpretazione...
@@caracalune2166 I don't think anyone really thinks that Lappland is how Italian people sound. They are just happy they gave her an accent at all since dubbing of characters in games doesn't usually take accents into account.

EN Lappy has just been an absolute joy to listen to. Christina Kowalchuk did a fantastic job! Definitely one of my favorites from this batch.

@@unholyknightwhowanttowield5522 Because Lappland is more of a code name, and Sweedish is an offshoot off Nordic which is a Germanic language that sits in the same category of linguistics that inspired Latin which is just ancient Italian.

The fucking "Ceri quasi, tesoro!" line fucking made me feel THINGS
I'm conflicted. Lappy's JP voice had a soft and low psycho voicelines and some that are like the en dub of high and crazy. But the en dubs seems to be in favor of high and higher crazy voicelines which is nice, but I like it when there is an obvious difference in tone to make each voiceline more memoriable.
Yeah I'm sticking to the sub, just fits better to how Lapland looks & acts in my eyes. The dub is pretty good but I'm actually Italian & some of what she says actually sounds more Spanish than italian which throws me off a little. Both are definitely good though

Well, it seems that Lappland's EN VA is a Russian. Never thought that easily recognisable russian accent (for me since i am russian speaker) will sound so Italish.
The rolling R is also the Italian thing.
Woah, this is a really interesting take on Lappland's EN voice! Very different than the voice I had in mind for her, but I'm pleasantly surprised! Def one of my my new favorite EN dubs.
