sorry this is unrelated to the video but i was wondering how can i tune a shush pro whistle? i recently got one and it s not sounding quite right, i also dont want to try adjusting the mouthpiece without knowing exactly what to do, as it seems quite fragile

A sharp second octave may be due to simply blowing too hard. As a beginner it's tempting to jump to the second octave by blowing harder. A good exercise is to play the second octave as quietly as possible. Try playing a first octave note loud then jumping up an octave but playing very quiet. I had exactly this problem and blamed the flute - as my emboucher got more focused the octaves lined up. This took a year or so.
Adjustments to the stopper don't affect the second octave much - it has more influence on the third octave.

@@AllanTheBanjo Thanks i think ur right. I recently started playing the tin whistle and i had a very cheap one to begin with. I started to enjoy playing so i decided to upgrade to the shush pro. I was a bit disappointed when it came in a few days ago as it didnt seem to be in great condition (the mouthpiece was a bit chipped and the shush logo was glued quite sloppily). This bad first impression made me think there may also be something wrong with the sound quality, though i have to admit this whistle is much slimmer than my first one, and it requires a different amount of breath to play, so the weird sounds may as well be me not being accustomed to the change yet.
