What are you thinking now? Is it good? Or is it negative? Is it faith? Or is it fear?
I tell you, “Watch what you are thinking!” Because what you think can affect you. It can influence your decisions and actions, which can shape your future.
Scripture declares, “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he…” (Proverbs 23:7 NKJV). In other words, we become what we think. So if you think you are a loser, you will become a loser, even if your life is good and you have a lot of achievements, because that is what you think. Wrong thinking will blind you and make you unable to appreciate what you have.
But if you think you will succeed, even if you pass through trials and failure, it will not matter so much and not even affect you because your mind is set for success.
That’s the power of your thoughts.
You cannot think defeat and get victory. You cannot think of weakness and then receive strength. Your life is going to follow your thoughts.
Researchers say that 87% of the illnesses that plague us today are a direct result of our thought life. What we think affects us physically and emotionally.
So we need to train our mind and heart to think heavenly thoughts, faith thoughts, and power thoughts.
We don’t just think of anything; rather, we become mindful of what you entertain in your thoughts. Remember, what you think can shape you. Victory starts in your mind.
Romans 12:2 declares, “And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.”
