This discussion is as real as it gets. The problem is 99% of Govt employees will not like this discussion and so it will be ignored. Unless we end this vicious cycle of buying jobs, things will never improve. Problem is, if you sell something, someone is bound to buy it... so, again it all starts from the top. We need educated, bold and smart leaders. Sadly, we have not had that in Manipur for a long time now...
We have maimed the minds of our young generation that the only way to survive is by getting a govt job, I guess thats where this Govt jobs (Servant/naukar) gets its undue significance in Manipur... no disrespect to govt employees, all I am trying tonsay is that Govt job is just one of the many sources of income....
