I for 6 month's volunteered on Mercy Ships, we docked in Africa and what a beautiful thing to have children and there families that could never afford these types of surgeries get them free of charge. It's the most amazing thing I've ever done in my life. Now you have to be able to afford no pay for 6 month's. You pay for your air fair, your food room in the ship. But the experience to help ppl who could never do this is such a blessing from God. I cried with every family member because there heart just makes you melt. 🙏🏻🤗🙏🏻💙🕊️🙏🏻🤗💙

The bedside manner of all involved w this girl is wonderful- allowing her to feel relaxed before going under…it’s a VERY stressful time for the parents too-I should know-my child had hemangioma surgery too, but not as severe. Any time your child has to go under its a stressful time for mom and Dad!!

My daughter had that surgery done as well she 23 yrs old now .. did her justice indeed
Using the mask to put her under reminded me of when I had my tonsils out at 6. I fought them tooth and nail going under with that mask over my face. I fixed them good though, I didn't/wouldn't wake up for them when they wanted me to ..... put a good scare in them too ...... apparently, they over medicated me with whatever they were using in the "gas" because I was fighting them so much. I can not understand why they didn't use meds through an IV like they do these days. I have had more than my share of surgeries and procedures that required general anesthesia as an adult, and it has always been through an IV ...... it has always been "are you ready? here we g ...... and the next thing I know I am waking up ..... that would be so much less traumatic than trying to gas a child to unconsciousness ...... sheesh!
@@phenomenalwife5380 when I was a child they used either to put you out..that stuff was nasty. Years later I worked in a hospital in the department that sterilized everything (back then needles and gloves were not disposable) I had a hard time because some either was used...thank goodness they don't do that anymore ! I am 80 now I don't think I could handle that anymore....made me deathly sick...

To your question, if doctors do this for free? I'm in Toronto, Canada. And I know Sick kid's Hospital in Toronto has a fund to help extremely cases on children from all over the world.
Nothing is really for free . So, anyone can donate to that amazing Hospital.

I don't get how so many are thanking the doctor or praising him for his empathy and doing such a good work. Guys it's his job! He gets paid a shit ton of money for doing it. Thanking doctors is completely unnecessary.

Soon all illnesses (emotional, mental, physical) will be cured, as promised in Isaiah 33:24:

Verdade minha Irma quando minha filha fez duas cirurgia uma na bacia e outra na perna das 8 horas da manhã às 5:30 da tarde mas só tenho agradecer todos os médicos cirurgião enfermeira equipe e a Deus mesmo na vida de tudo dele na minha vida minha filha só tá se recuperando da cirurgia a recorre a correção da tíbia esquerda só tenho agradecer a meu Deus segundo a minha fé e terceiro os médicos porque a gente se entendeu a gente não é nada e sem fé a gente também né nada e Deus proteja todos os médicos de todo mundo inteiro

When the propofol goes in the IV it burns like fire. That’s probably what made her cry. But then she goes out fast. Poor one. But I just saw her post op video and she looks wonderful. Well done!
