A ceramic coating will keep the paint protected and looking good for years, depending on the coating. Definitely worth the money. Looks good though!
It looks "HUMM-BEE-livible" good!
it looks awesome!!! huge difference
It looks amazing Nate!
It looks great! Good price too!
I second the ceramic coating suggestion just below me. The only thing I'd add is I would personally go with 2 coats of a really good quality coating and just simple maintenance every couple of months with a spray ceramic coating just to keep it nice.
Another awesome video as always Nate
Looks awesome ❤❤
Nate, give Adams Polishes a try. They have some really good products on hand to help bring back the colors on those trim pieces. Also, a good ceramic coating will keep that Hummer looking good for years to come!
I have a jar of this stuff called Black Fusion, that is supposed to be top of the line, so Im gonna try that today
@@RomancingTheStates cool! Let us know how it works!
It looks great
for some reason the yellow didn't hold up well from the ones I've seen, the clear coat comes off and then the yellow fades. looks great though and decent price. I've got 3 h2's and I've yet to come across a yellow h2 that was worth buying. I may just repaint one yellow. Or something else. I really like that Jeep Renegade lime green. I've got one with sunset orange metallic with some scratches and a few small dings, I really like the color on that one so I'll just get it redone same color, yeah I'm thinking maaco is good enough.
Not to bad at all, for not wanting all the trim and everything removed. I have heard those horror stories about Maaco too. Looks good Nate.
You are the best Nate!
Looks good nate they did a good job.
With MAACO paint jobs (I've had work done a couple of times by them) it's always a "time will tell" situation - overall I've been happy with their work in my area (central Ohio). For the price paid if you're not expecting a $15k paint job and know that they'll not completely disassemble everything and you may have do some clean up around the trim (overspray). As others have said a ceramic coat would be a good idea and have your detailer polish it when the paint is fully cured.
The lights on top removed and all chrome including wheels would look extremely bad ass painted black with a Lamborghini yellowish orange exterior paint. And for wheels maybe a 20 by 12s upgrade and this thing is a monster
Where did you get the roof lights?
They actually were already installed by the previous owner
I've always heard horror stories about Macco as well. Looks good though and you can't beat that price.
Nate, that looks brighter than it was! Will you be hauling it behind Goliath on your next road trip? Really enjoyed your video!
I bet the Hummer would pull the RV better than the RV could pull the Hummer!
Great job! $1600 - unreal! What’s the location?
It was done in Canton Ohio. Really good job but there is alot of overspray that I keep noticing in different places, like on some of the windows too, so that sucks but it'll come off with a straight edge razor.
I hear that you need to mask-off a lot of parts yourself to avoid overspray. Well, I was quoted $5K by Maaco locally (NY, Staten Island location) for my bmw m3. Same as other shops.
You're almost to 10K subs!
Why you buy new door you can just get a sander and sand it down you could of saved a lit of money
You didnt watch the whole video did you
Hi, good video 🥰
I'd be happy with the paint, have to ask you what happened to the H2 on the front doors ?
No doubt, I think it turned out great! They had to remove them to paint the doors.. I have new ones ordered :)
The Hummbee
You should take a heat gun to that worn black plastic.
