- An Australian man's voice (#AussieASMRMan) is chewing gum and quietly whispering as he plays a game of #Solitaire. This is the regular Solitaire or Klondike Solitaire. Autonomous sensory meridian response (#ASMR). This card game is played with a standard 52 deck of cards, with all discussion is done in a quiet whisper.

I follow you couple years now and those casual videos always were my favorite ones. For example, the card magic one is definitely all time favorite so I requested a few times already, redoing the old one with maybe some new tricks. Think it would be pretty interesting.

Well, this is the 6th time starting to watch this video, and i can barely get through the shuffleing part! It is just sooooo relaxing, switches me off right away and puts me into sweet dreams!
I dont know what you did differently, were you closer to the camera, closer to the mic, or u used a different setup - but in this video, you are amazing, even better than before for me. The chewing was louder, your whisper quiter, dunno just great. Whatever you did, please do it again in your upcoming vids.
Also the card sounds do you well, maybe more card vids in future would be a good idea. At least works for me very much.

It was the same set up as always, although the camera was slightly higher, but the microphone was in the same spot. Just not sure what was different ?? I'll have to watch it again and see if I can work it out...
Actually, I was thinking of re-recording this video when I realised that in some sections the cards looked "washed" out. However, I didn't have enough time so I posted it as it was. Glad I didn't re-record it after reading your comment and also the comments of a few others!!
@@AussieAsmrMan i never even noticed the cards washed out, i often dont watch, but listen to your vids :) in asrm for me, audio is much more important than visuals. And in this onr, the sound was spot on.
Still havent got till the end of the vid , even on the 6th try haha 😄 fell asleep again. I will give it another go tonight!
Anyways i watched it again, trying to analyze what touched me so much, and i think, that's when you chew your gum, and not talking, but you breath out on your nose more heavily, or at least it is more audible than usual (thats why i thought maybe the mic was closer to your face), and for me that makes the difference.
Cos your voice while chewing and whispering is similar to other vids (also nice of course) but this breathing sound i never noticed before. Very noticable when shuffling the cards at the beginning for example.
Of course the card shuffle noises add to it as well. It is just a great vid in general. Thanks! 🥰

BTW, you missed at least 3 plays. At 10:15 that 3 could have been laid on the 2 of Spades, which would have allowed you to play the 4 of Spades at 10:38. And lastly you missed playing the red 3 on the black 4 at 11:02. That's a lot of missed plays in under 60 seconds.

My suggestion for future map drawing videos is maps of micro nations. (San Marino, The Vatican, Micronesia, Bhutan, Lichtenstein, etc.)

I am a playing card collector in the U.S. and hope you'll answer a cpl ?s for me. What deck are you using (what is it called) and who makes it? Is it the equivalent of a deck of Bicycle made by the United States Playing Card Company? I am trying to collect decks from other countries and I've never heard what the Australian equivalent of the USPCC is, or what deck would be Bicycle's counterpart in Australia. I'd be SO grateful for this info! [EDIT: I think I found out myself. Are these Queens Slipper? I also learned that apparently you guys don't have a company that ONLY males playing cards! That's so weird! I'm going to try and find a deck of Enchanted Journey cards (2003) or as a 2nd choice, Nine Lives (2016).]
The deck in the video is just a "no-name" deck of cards. We do have Bicycle playing cards in Australia. Another good quality playing cards that we use in Australia is "Queen's Slipper"

No, I didn't watch the Formula 1. However, I saw the highlights on the news this morning including Daniel Ricciardo doing the "shoey" and the Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen's crash.
