- Hamburg is anyway the most beautiful city in the world for Hamburg residents, but also a popular travel destination for visitors from all over the world. Hamburg offers a well-developed network of cycle paths and on this tour, I cycled around the Inner Alster and the Outer Alster and from there to the Speicherstadt and on to the famous Elbphilharmonie. From there I drove on to the jetties, into the Portuguese Quarter, through the old Elbe tunnel to the other bank of the Elbe and back again and then the Elbe past the submarine museum, Altona and the Elbe beach to the Blankenese lighthouse with a wonderful view on the stairs district of Blankenese. This bike tour was 60 kilometers long and breath-taking. Hamburg is a beautiful city and has many nice and helpful residents. I was thrilled and can recommend every bike friend to go on a bike tour in Hamburg.
