    Africa must address the issue of Education, Religion, Language and Personal Names. Education should be relevant to the Africans in the fast changing world, which will only be achieved by educational instructions being carried in mother tongues to University level. If you give someone education in a foreign language, then somewhere in that person's psychology you are telling them that they were born inferior! Knowing other languages, as a second language later is a good empowerment tool. Names are a connection to the Ancestors and to the future generations that will be born, when the current generation has become Ancestors.

    Well said prof. Ecowas has not serve it purpose well enough and it’s the cause of their departure. If kwame Nkrumah is alive ecowas won’t be this useless. There’s been too many constitutionally coup detat specially in the French African nations being bullied by France yet ecowas did nothing to help. Just look at the way European Union is helping Ukrainian now . How can we have free trade when we don’t have a common currency we using, numerous number of stoppages and every check point takes money from our market women so where’s the free trade afterall? Honestly ecowas only exist on paper but practically nothing is there.

  • @imamaliyu
    @imamaliyu Před 5 měsíci +1

    What I expected from this Prof is to proffer solution to Ghana's government on how to encourage farmers to produce these vegetables locally. Your country has fertile land to produce all these foodstuff but he is busy telling ECOWAS to go and negotiate with those bandits. Is Ghana a barren land that can't farm? Who told him that military get sense? There is no country that these bandits are insulting now like our country Nigeria, we didn't asked them to go and do coup, we didn't invite military for them, they did. We had terrible years of military dictatorship we know what it. So, they shouldn't expect ECOWAS to swallow all their silly demands. If they don't want to be part of ECOWAS it is fine, no one is forcing them to say, they have right to quit, but they also have no right to dictate to ECOWAS what to do and how to do it. Forget all this propaganda, it is just a matter of time for even the masses in those countries to realize that they are being deceived by these soldiers.

    We don't need them back, and we wish them well. Any member of ECOWAS should remain a democratic state. Ghanaians have witnessed the shortcomings of dictatorship or military-led governance and are not ready to regress. Additionally, we have fertile lands suitable for agriculture and livestock. Let's instead encourage our farmers to stand on their own feet to meet the demand.

What we import from Burkina can be locally made available. We are helping them secure the northern border from insurgence. I found myself in a democratic country that's far better off than Burkina. We have so many Burkinabes in this country, ask them if they would want to go back to their country as it is now. So they need us and we don't need them as much as they do.
