- Platinum Blonde performs Crying Over You live in concert at their induction to the Canadian Walk of Fame at Massey Hall in Toronto, Canada on September, 28th, 2023. See my other videos for more from this ceremony.
Seeing them opening up for Billy Idol in August. Can’t wait! Reliving my adolescence 😂❤👩🏻🎤✌🏻🖤🎶
Saw them last night on the Idol tour. To be honest I'm not a fan of this performance but they killed it last night.
Same tonight in Halifax
Mark Holmes is a great showman and lead singer. His style, energy, and freedom on stage is wonderful to watch. I hope Platinum Blonde does some shows and tours in the future.
They are opening for Billy Idol on his Canadian Rebel Yell tour
@@ThePaulromiThank you for letting me know! I just looked up the tour dates after your message. They are playing August 9, 2024 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. That would be a nice summertime show to look forward to.
@@siroptimisticawesome, just picked up tickets for the Calgary show.

This reminds me of my big brother ordering records through Columbia house.
When my parents found out it became situation critical
❤️😀
Sounds great
Saw them right too, they were awesome!!
Good to know that they are still performing! Thanks for sharing!!
I little taste of what to expect from Platinum Blonde.. when they open up for Billy this summer.
Thought the back up band seems to be dragging the tune a bit Marks voice is on point and so is Segio's playing!
Gonna be a show to remember!
Thanks for uploading!
I was supposed to see them and probably meet them a few years ago. Plane mechanical issue and the flight was cancelled and so was my dream.
Man what lifeless crowd!
Well Deserved!
We seem to be going to a lot of the same shows and looks like we are both concert junkies. I think between the 2 of us we went to every show in Toronto this year sofar 🤣 🤣
you can see mark holmes in person at his club on st claire every weekend. he's very personable.
Where's the Club and what's it called ?That would be fun
Great footage! 2:20 would have been epic if the original artist solo for this played it….Alex Lifeson (Rush) blah..blah…blah😂❤🎸
These guys should have been a world wide hit band. Way better than some british groups that are considered to this day great. Poor management/ PR I guess.
I know that Crying Over You was their only #1, but it was a crappy song that doesn't stand the test of time. Standing in the Dark, Not in Love, and It Doesn't Really Matter were all far better songs and the songs that first broke them, they should have done those instead. It's funny seeing them here with a huge band when the original was just a trio. This is just Mark and Sergio with a cast of session people. They should have had Chris there for this.
Agree with all you said…but I still think PB was a way overrated band😝
Agree -- Standing in the Dark (the whole album) has stood the test of time, and Alien Shores totally hasn't.
Sorry guys,, but doesn’t sound that good. Oh well.
Will ya PLEASE explain to me what your sorry for? No I'm actually serious what are you sorry for??????
are you stupid?? he literally sounds the same as the recording. which is impressive knowing his age.
Yeah it's pretty flat sounding, no depth and buddy sounds like he missed a few beats at the climax late in the song. At least Holmes put on some show instead of just standing still at a microphone.
These dudes where brutal back in the day. Whole wack of this junk ... these guys, Honeymoon Suite, Haywire, The Spoons just terrible stuff.
😂this wins the internet
Looks like u hate Canadian bands
@@redeyeify only shitty ones.
😂 must be a yank
