At-Taubah 9:64 يَحْذَرُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ أَن تُنَزَّلَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُورَةٌ تُنَبِّئُهُم بِمَا فِى قُلُوبِهِمْۚ قُلِ ٱسْتَهْزِءُوٓا۟ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ مُخْرِجٌ مَّا تَحْذَرُونَ They hypocrites are apprehensive lest a surah be revealed about them, informing them of what is in their hearts. Say, "Mock [as you wish]; indeed, Allah will expose that which you fear. At-Taubah 9:65 وَلَئِن سَأَلْتَهُمْ لَيَقُولُنَّ إِنَّمَا كُنَّا نَخُوضُ وَنَلْعَبُۚ قُلْ أَبِٱللَّهِ وَءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَرَسُولِهِۦ كُنتُمْ تَسْتَهْزِءُونَ And if you ask them, they will surely say, "We were only conversing and playing." Say, "Is it Allah and His verses and His Messenger that you were mocking?" At-Taubah 9:66 لَا تَعْتَذِرُوا۟ قَدْ كَفَرْتُم بَعْدَ إِيمَٰنِكُمْۚ إِن نَّعْفُ عَن طَآئِفَةٍ مِّنكُمْ نُعَذِّبْ طَآئِفَةًۢ بِأَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ مُجْرِمِينَ Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after your belief. If We pardon one faction of you - We will punish another faction because they were criminals.

Endless comments about how beautiful the recitation is, yes Allâh سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى has blessed him with a melodious voice, BUT the Quran was revealed to be read, pondered,contemplate the meanings and acted upon by applying the teachings in our lives, not just merely marvelling at a melodious voice. May Allah preserve the shaikh reciting however as a listeners contemplation takes precedence over melody. May Allah keep us connected with Quran.
You are correct, however it was revealed not in the written form, so it was not exactly revealed to be read. Iqrah doesn't mean just read, it also means recite. What you are witnessing is one of the miracles of the Qur'an, that someone that has no knowledge of what's being said, no knowledge that this is the speech of Allah سبحانه و تعالى and still feel its effects in their heart. Yes we as Muslims should ALSO read, understand, and contemplate over what is being said but we should not look down on those listening to someone that Allah سبحانه و تعالى has blessed with a beautiful melodic voice. May Allah سبحانه و تعالى make us all better as none of us are perfect and are need of his blessings. آمين يارب العالمين
