Please stop promoting this waste of power. Yes, waste. Turning off some lightbulbs doesnt do enough to decrease power demand on the grid. Yet turning them back on causes a spike, forcing more generators to be activated.

Ah yes candles is going to ruin our planet and going to emit CO2 and saying that the planet is going to be alright when we all need 1 billion candles

@@CatCheeze who mentioned candles? 2/2 people fail to provide a counter argument. Even fail to write a decent reply.

Great idea, turn the lights off on top of tall buildings and pray no aeroplanes are flying nearby 🤔

I would imagine that planes sensitive radar would be able to pick up buildings in the area and I'm sure they pretty much mapped it out in their head flying over.

@@ClaridgesSeven Yes, fair point. After I commented I was thinking, what about the blitz in UK in WWII. Same thing happened there, planes flew over and everyone had turned the lights off/blacked out the windows etc. so it would have been the same effect. And they had very basic instrumentation back then and they managed it.

Nah this turning the lights off is bad cuz we need more candles and candles emit CO2
