Hello Andrew! Thanks for having me on your little show and I am glad you enjoyed my drumming. ;)
Hope to visit your beautiful country soon!
you are a beast man, cheers from hungary
Yes... Hope you visit soon as well!
Yo Krimh ! What's happening with Vogg and Machine head ? Any chance you rejoining Decapitated ? Peace to you bro !! Amazing tune and impressive playing as always .
Been a fan for years Master!
Thank you! Very inspiring 🥁💪💯
I grew up watching Krimh, I saw him go from playing lamb of god covers to joining decapitated and septic Flesh. Love that I was raised by CZcams in the golden era.
NICE!
don't forget Thorns of Ivy :p
Krimh is a monster. Saw him a few years ago with Septic Flesh and there was a line of probably 20 drummers lined-up against the wall trying to watch his feet :)
What is most impressive, he did everything - guitars, bass, composition, arrangement :) Too much talent for one being.
That's not talent, big brother. That's many many many hours of practice, years of training, rudiments, and technique development. The man has earned everything he's done.
@@KvltKrist it's true. a lot of people could do this if they had the same kind of drive and persistence to do it. But few do. Talent might give you a bit of a headstart but the hard workers always gonna catch up at some point if you think you can be lazy. Now the one's to be feared are the one's that are very talented and also very hard working. Eg. Donati. If he'd be a boxer or in some type of competittive sport, he'd be unbeatable
@@hazardeur exactly. Few do.
Watching Krimh develop his skill set throughout the years has been a privilege.
@@KvltKrist Jep, I saw him live first time with Decapitated and i knew he^s a special one. Tight as hell.
Really. That's insane. Didn't know he could play the guitar and stuff. Incredible
I think I first watched KRIMH when he did **Ye Entrancemperium** cover, and immediately fell in love with his drumming.
A lot of time passed since then, and I still enjoy his works like if I hear him for the first time. This dude is always flawless, never disappoints! 🤘
The more I watch these drummers the better I feel about selling my drum kit years ago.
I wish every single metal album had drums that sounded like THIS!
If you haven’t check out his albums with Septicflesh and decapitated. One of my favorite metal drummers right now!
Krimh's work on the newest Harakiri for the Sky record is incredible as well. Punishing, brutal yet beautiful all at the same time.
Oh dude I've waited so damn long for someone to react to Krimh, he's my fav drummer, absolute beast please react to more of his stuff, he's got loads on his channel... 👍👍🤘🤘
I’ve been watching this dude for so long. I’m glad he’s still killing it and progressing. 😍
Krihm is one of my favorite drummers. His playing is always so precise, interesting and powerful. He's a great guy too!!!
'A drumming crush'. Haha - He is an amazing drummer!
I was watching an interview yesterday with the female drummer from the band Nervosa Eleni Nota and she says this man here is her biggest influence right now so I really wanted to check him out, and I knew this probably would be a good channel to find him, lol. He is definitely super talented, nice reaction 👍
I remember watching Krimh to learn how to do double bass when I was 17. I'm now 31. It's insane seeing his progression and change over the years, he's so damn good now it's insane.
Truuuuuu
Yeah! I turned 40 last year and I remember him play to Dimmu Borgirs Progenies of the great apocalypse. 13 years ago... Man, that is a long time ago. Absolutely great Drummer and one of the channels I follow for a long time, probably my first channel I watched regularly.
Krimh was the first drummer I watched on youtube and influenced my drumming heavily, super huge inspiration!
Krimh is holding it down for us 5"7 guys
His calves look like elephant livers lol
Dude...that part in the end gave me chills for real...FANTASTIC!!!
Kerim is playing drums in SepticFlesh, but this was his own solo stuff. Grrreeat drummer
Metal is most versatile genre, you can add anything to it !
🤘
Seriously! Metal and Jazz are the melting pots of anything music. In both genres you can add anything tastefully and it will probably work well. Such creative genres. When people say I hate metal or jazz I just tell them they don't understand complex music because they're small-brainedlol.
I think that you can really fuse anything if you're creative enough, but it's a lot easier with stellar examples, like in metal. Old school video games like Earthbound, among others, were making fully electronic jazz and prog in the 80's and 90's. Of course, that was due to hardware limitations, but that doesn't change that the hotel theme in Earthbound was literally an electronica/bossa nova fusion.
I haven't listened to KRIMH since he was the drummer of Decapitated and his playing has matured so much, it's inspiring to see
I saw this when it first came out and I'd never seen him play before. First thing that hit me was how awesome the kit sounded, then how creative he was. Reminds me a lot of Mario Duplantier from Gojira.
You should really check out KRIMH's cover of Gojira - The Art of Dying too
I'd rather him react to Krihm originals or songs from bands he's been in.
Elite musician! Most drummers do drumming, he is making music using drums... true artists.
Krimh is one of the most underrated drummers on this earth period
I been subscribed to krimh at like 1k subscribers back In the beginnings of CZcams. He's been really good for a really long time.
GREAT!
he writes and plays most of his songs too, all instruments, very talented guy.
High octane ear candy for me..😍🤘🤘YAAAAHOOOO!!! He's so AWESOME! Go Krimh!
🙌
Yea man krimh is the man! Been listening to him since he joined DECAP since carnival!
Here I've been asking you to do a review of this gentleman's playing, and you already did one before I subscribed! Well it wasn't me who introduced you to him, but I'm glad you got a chance to check out some of his stuff. Cheers Andrew!
Excellent drumming. He can do the death metal thing, but this song really highlights much more dynamic and orchestrated playing. Very refreshing.
Ive always thought he was a step above most death metal drummers because he adds as much dynamics and orchestration as he can within the genre. Yes he’s brutal and fast, but he writes drum SONGS, not just spaces filled with blasts. He’s like the Dave Grohl of death metal drummers.
Krimh is one of my favorite drummers! ♡
Great video Andrew, awesome drummer that you're bringing us here.
Cheers from Mexico 🇲🇽 ✌🏼🥁
That breathing thing is so true. The best advises I've got from other drummers are "remember to breath" and "play with your whole body."
Been waiting for Krimh to be on here! Hell yes!!!
Been watching Krimh's youtube channel for like a decade now. so much cool stuff he's done and been a part of. I like the video's of his music where it shows him playing everything (all of the guitars & drumming). Super creative.
WOW! That was amazing. Thanks Andrew. Great stuff mate
Star classic maple is my fav. Everybody tries to get away from maple but it’s the classic for a reason.
Krimh is not human drummer... He's a machine! Just love to hear him play 😈😈
Thank you!! I was waiting for this one!!
Krimh has been around for so many years. He has a really inspiring repertoire - and it is not limited to playing "just" the drums!
Just WOW Those dynamics were awesome. Another great vid and commentary from your good self.
Love your reaction. Mine is very much the same when I hear a new tune that really gets my attention. I dissect music down to the core as well, at times it can lead to ridicule from others when my opinion is not a popular one especially about popular bands. Krimh is definitely one of the few who are very technically proficient which only leads me to believe, it comes down to the seriousness of the drummer.
When Fotis Bernardo left SepticFlesh, I was worried they wouldn’t be able to find anyone as good as Fotis. I’m so glad they found Krimh because he is absolutely incredible
Having a hard time coming up with superlatives adequate enough for this guy. Reminded me of Chris Turner more than Gavin Harrison. Great reaction video. Honestly appreciate your input Andrew.
Thanks for the kind words. Yes I thought this was outstanding
Yeah this sounds as good as any Zildjian Live video. What can you say but he’s destine to be one of the greats. Phenomenal musician
he wrote and recorded all parts of this minus the vocals about 3 years ago in an album called Kerancarrussell or something like that...
Je vois votre passion en écoutant chacun de vos vidéos. Toujours un plaisir de vous voir réagir. D'un passionné de musique à un autre ✌🏼
Man thats tasty drumming, and the sound is awesome! 😍
Awesome reaction, love his playing.
Kerim is Tomas Haake, Danny Carey, and Mike Portnoy all rolled into one machine of a drummer!
True! Imo Slipknot missed huge chance not getting Kerim. Don't get me wrong Jay is fantastic musician, but nowhere near as good in metal drumming.
@@fatmitch1421 It all worked out in the end. Kerim could definitely play with Meshuggah if needed.
That was beautiful. Holy crap.
I found CZcams, because of this drummer many many years ago.
Love Krimh, I've not seen him play something so dynamic and musical. Not bagging on his other stuff but he's known to me more of a metal drummer so its nice to see him deliver more range. Great stuff.
I saw Krimh decapitated many years ago, and I was totally blown away by the pure control and speed/coordination.
THANKS! Finally Kerim :D
What an alpha-drummer!
I'm crushed as well.
Absolutely flawless! 🤗
One of my all time favourites.
I have never heard this guy before either. But my god is this guy absolutly AMAZING
I met him in Hollywood when he was touring with Decapitated and he is a very talented and humble person.
An another total beast very impressive
This is perfect
I think this is from his upcoming solo record. [Edit-its actually from an older one]
He was recently on the extreme drummers podcast. Hosted by dan wilding who's the current drummer for carcass. We'll worth checking it out. Lots of amusing drummer based banter.
this came out 3 years ago.
@@lucyferina ahh ok. I'm sure I heard he was doing another solo record..assumed that such a recent video would feature a newer track.
@@lungfulldrummer8921 look around in his channel he might still have it but it was called Kerdankencarrusell or something like that, that song but with vocals is in it from over 3 years ago.
Andy, I don't know if anyone pointed this out or not, but this is off of Krimh's solo album, he plays all the instruments on this solo records. So he's playing guitar and bass as well. :) Big fan of his work, excellent drummer and composer.
Thanks Andrew, Krimh is a killer drummer! Talented musician who plays multiple instruments. His kit sounds magnificent in the Meinl drum festival 2015 vid also. e.g: ‘Prototype’ track (from his Septic Flesh days).
Admiro a Krimh desde sus comienzos, excelente video, saludos!
Funny, when you said "Rim click" and how the mid part changes, _reminds_ me of Meshuggah/Tomas Haake "Future Breed Machine" (1995). But THIS guy is a monster as well, great combo of music styles. Really impressive, will need to hear more of this band that I have known about, but missed all these years.
Not sure if you're aware, since Krimh is a new artist to you. But he composes all of his Solo music. Guitars and everything.
Also, one of his favorite drummers is Gavin Harrison, so it only makes sense to hear a little bit of his work within Krimh.
Great video, would love to see you do more of Krimh.
Andrew yet again i find myself in a situation where i get to watch something really good , then type it in search box on your channel and there it is ;) Know KRIMH somehow never heard this to be honest . Cheers !
Nothing beats discovering new awesome players! NOTHING
@@AndrewRooneyDrums keep it up my friend i really like your channel ;)
@@AndrewRooneyDrums while you're here and speaking of new drummers to discover i'll try to be cheeky and ask you. Kevin Paradis - "Residual blight" drum cover song by Kriegsmachine. Now this is a second project of drummer from Polish band Mgla which you've reacted to already. Trust me you'll be loved for this ;) thank me later
He is really smooth.
Krimh's cymbal work here is fantastic! Those splash combinations... Immediately had me looking for these cymbals with a credit card in hand. Of course I'll never make anything sound as good as he has here, but still😂
Awesome drummer
Sup brother! Dudes Tom's are incredible sounding... nice pick !
You can clearly hear (see) the quality of this guys playing. He can blast but his slower passages have depth, clarity and space. You have to check out KRIMH- LOKUST Eradication: One . Fucking epic mate.
Man, you shold see him doing his SEPTIC FLESH thing....try "a great mass"
Yes krimh is awesome and he plays lots of different metal genres
Wow, great great great...and he calls himself Krimh. As a Crim myself, I approve😉💪👍
That intro used to be my cell phone ring tone.
Nice!
awesome video! thanks!
You got it Peter!
nice you pick my suggestion :D
Cool 👏👏👏
Metal drummers continue to amaze me.
You need to check out his collab band, lokust . They do a song called guiltless. 3 piece, no bass no vocals . And some of the best new metal I’ve heard in awhile
I think zen-like level of control describes KRIMH pretty good. I always think that with his double bass technique, there was one drum clinic video where he showed how to speed up and slow down and it was flawless...
Also, he composed the track, and played all the instruments !!
I know him Very Well, he plays mostly in Polish Bands Now but not only
Right on!
Anyone into Krimh make sure you’ve watched his play through for Enemy of Truth by Septicflesh! Made while he was tracking drums with Jens Bogren. The drum sound on that record is absolutely insane.
If you like his stuff, need to check out realistically anything from Blake Richardson.
He did Blake once at it got blocked. Been after him to try another vid for ages.
Andrew i already sent to you some advice to check krimh videos!!!!!
Love it !!!
😉
never heard of this guy(to my shame)...nice one bud :)
this drums setup reminds me of Marthus like 15yrs ago...
Finally, KRIMH! #drummergod
SO. GOOD.
Can you do the drummer from Defeater please? He's no metal freak but he's got awesome control and i love his drumming. Look at his Rabbit Foot play through. Actually check this studio band performance, skip to the 3rd or 4th song Dead Set, it's awesome and you can hear everything Joe Longobardi is doing and watch him do it.
He is a one man band also, a machine
Mmm so flavorful
i fucking love love love that andy knows almost NOTHING about drums
It's been a minute since I dropped a comment. Have a good weekend 🤘
You too!
Superb drummer check out all his other amazing videos
Sina: Won't Get Fooled Again. The Who. Massive force and stamina!
I'll just leave it here :)
David Diepold - Hymns
Have you checked out George Kollias yet???? An absolute must if you havent thus far. I know fellow drummers will back me up on that.
And him and Alex Rudinger are friends too)
Krimh is a great drummer! Great skill, hard worker and very disciplined. Takes it very seriously, which is a great example for other drummers imo.(some times a bit too seriously maybe? :D XP )
