- Symphony No. 6 in F major, K. 43, was composed by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1767. According to Alfred Einstein in his 1937 revision of the Köchel catalog, the symphony was probably begun in Vienna and completed in Olomouc, a Moravian city to which the Mozart family fled to escape a Viennese smallpox epidemic.
The symphony is in four movements. Its initial performance was at Brno on 30 December 1767. The autograph of the score is today preserved in the Biblioteka Jagiellońska in Kraków.
The instrumentation for the first performance was: 2 flutes; 2 oboes; 2 horns; a bassoon; strings and a keyboard continuo. The flutes are used in the second movement in place of the oboes. For the first time in a symphony, Mozart uses two obligatory viola parts.

Slovenian Philharmonics is the greatest musical institution in Slovenia. This orchestra is one of the oldest in this part of Europe. Honoured Members of the Philharmonic Society of Ljubljana (Philharmonische Gesellschaft) was: Josef Haydn (1800), Ludwig van Beethoven (1819), Nicolo Paganini (1824) in later Johannes Brahms (1885). The interesting conductors and music teachers were among many legendary names a young Franz Schubert and young Gustav Mahler.
PPZ and TAJUS productions are proud to cooperate with Slovenian Music Giant and vibrant musicians of Slovenian Philharmonics. In the harsh time of lockdown in Europe, director and producer Primož Zevnik managed to record this gentle piece of music with this amazing orchestra.

She wants to get a message to her lover but cannot risk being discovered. It is decided that the message will be written by her maid. In this duet, they decide upon the wording. In this lovely gala performance we have the, at the time, 15 year old Paťricia Janečková as the maid, the countess sung by her music teacher, Eva Dřiízgová-Jirušová. This has also been in my library for many years, my friend. And of course, I have listened to it countless times. She was so very young here. But what an extraordinary voice, and what a superb teacher and friend she has with Eva. I think about her and what she is now going through every day, and have prayed for her many times these many past months. 💔🌹
This video shows two things clearly, first that Mozart was an incredible, out of this world genius. And second, that conductors are a waste of time and money and not needed at all. All they do is add their egos to the composer's music. Not needed. All you need is a good Concertino (1st Violinist) and voilà! Nothing else needed.

Kathy, my dear, If you are going to nit-pick like this, you might, at least try to quote correctly. Try "Honoured Members of the Philharmonic Society of Ljubljana (Philharmonische Gesellschaft) was:". You are technically correct but yours is a bit of an unnecessary and mean spirited comment, don't you think ? Your Jackson Browne appears to have difficulty in stringing more than half a dozen words into intelligible sentences, doesn't he ? By the way, a comma after "Yikes" might be a good idea.
