But Kenedi is still in because her tiktok says she's still on the show and she posted recently American Idol related and that she's excited for next week. She was also seen at the hotel still It's too late for her to quit cause they can't have a top 23. Some people also claimed that Jordan Chase quit the show due to not being shown at all except for his duet.

@@phillipivey4833 I like Noah. He’s a genuine guy who has a good heart, but he is not a good singer. To normal people he’s good. But he’s nowhere near any of the other competitors. He’s just an average country singer who doesn’t have much range in his vocals. Don’t want to sound mean or like I dislike him because I don’t, but he’s the worst singer in the top 24. Only reason why they have him there is because American Idol is rigged and needs their token make country singer…

She is such a good singer, but I am having a hard time seeing past just how wholesome and collected she looks. And that's unfair cause she is so much more than her supermodel genes. She is smart and grounded and seems unconceited, so respect. I just think she needs to develop her stage presence more and find that inner edge that will take her singing to the next level

I have to admit that Kenedi's singing style is not my cup of tea, but I can clearly and easily tell that she has superstar quality. I predict she will be huge.

I wish she could dial it back a bit. Sometimes it becomes too much like how she messed up a bit in that run. I'm glad that she acknowledges that and hope she digs in more into emotions than just going run after run after run.

She's still my favorite pick but I found it hard to connect with her the past 2 songs. All those runs sound great but, if people can't connect with her voice, it'll be hard for her to win it.

To be more specific -
The original version of this song conveys a feeling of loneliness and longing, and conveyed that by simply having vocals and piano. In the chorus, "talking to the moon" is like a wolf's howl to further convey those feelings. There are even measures of near silence to accentuate that feeling of loneliness.
In contrast, Kenedi's version had a full band (hard to convey loneliness with a full band). in the chorus, she changed "talking to the moon" into a fancy run that took away from any feelings of loneliness and longing. Would have also liked to see greater variance in dynamics - most of her performance was mezzo forte to forte. Of course, it's her cover, so she's free to do her own version of Talking to the Moon. However, her version drifts away from the songwriter's intent imho.

Yes, pretty girl but voice I’m not impressed. There’s better voices in the competition. Looks aren’t everything and hopefully hers are not what people vote for. Won’t be the winner Imo. Wouldn’t have even put her in top 24 even though she had the platinum ticket ( which wasn’t deserved and given out too quickly Imo).
