You killed this dude. The most underrated Tame Impala song, one of my favorites. Thank you 🙏🏻
Roddy’s Here.
breakin out some new tech i see
this is the best tame impala song ever. kevin literally mastered music with this song.
This is so good. Kevin said he started out on drums and it shows. He never misses. Good track and cover
absolutely killed this as always!! The fill at 4:10 is so dirty and you nailed it! So sick!!
such a good cover
what is your favourite tame impala song?
Sorry it’s not the answer you were hoping for but I really don’t have one! Part of the reason I like them so much.
@@RoddyBailey Ok but that’s the only right answer though
just wow. so heavy in the beginning and then the drop into the drums.. 🥁🔥🤘
This is an amazing birthday gift, thanks man! Such an underrated song.
Happy Birthday Josh!
@@RoddyBailey Thanks Roddy! Can’t wait for more uploads man
Awesome work as always 😊
This was the first song by tame that got me deeply into their music. Before this song I only knew their singles, heard this song and instantly started deep diving into all Kevin's work. Haven't turned back since!
Still one of my favourites!
“Flow” cover. Pleaseeeee
Or “Vital Signs”...
Maybe in the future my man
Roddy Bailey sundown syndrome too! Jazzy drums
This is my fav song. Masterpiece by Kevin. Great job Roddy!

just hits, no misses from Roddy. Love it man
This song so chill sweet drums bro.
you should do the tame impala remix of waves👀
we have been blessed once again
Didn't realize how sick the mix of electric and kit was on this
So glad you covered this! Was hoping someone would so I can copy it. Spot on as usual!
Sounds good)
i love you Roddy
But time...is rolling on.. rolling on
you sort of resemble kevin parker a bit haha. thanks for doing this it's my fav tame impala song! :D
Oh, at 4:10 did you hit the stick that was touching the snare instead of the snare itself? too sick
Don’t think so man, it might be a rimshot you’re hearing.
You should do Guilty Conscience Tame Impala remix! The drums go crazy!!
Exelenticime💯💯💯🌜🥁🌛😉"
Très Cordialement🙏🙏".

Hey Roddy, amazing as always, I've been watching your videos non-stop for a while and it's simply the best. What do you think of redoing Endors Toi with your current setup? It's my favourite song and I'm pretty sure your setup has improved a lot since that clip 6 years ago. Keep it up with those amazing videos.
Thank you man! I don’t think so tbh, I’d rather work on some new stuff. Thank you for the suggestion though, I welcome it very much :)
@@RoddyBailey you the boss bro, whatever you choose gonna be appreciated! Keep it up
@@MateusPozzobon much love bro
@@RoddyBailey Since you replied me let me ask you a question, I'm a left handed drummer and always played on a regular setup, I've played for more then 10 years like that but I struggle with some stuff cuz I always start my snare turns and stuff with the left hand and depending on the song it doens't fit well cuz the left hand was supposed to be on hi-hat or something like that, what suggestion would you give me, start over with left handed kit or train my brain to start always with the right hand? haha I dont know if you get what I'm trying to say anyway. Thanks mate!
@@MateusPozzobon I understand exactly what you’re saying. I have a student who is the same except they swap the crash and ride around. I would recommend learning to play right hand lead, or learn your rudiments and you could incorporate them into fills. So for example if you want to do 2 on each drum you could do a double in the left then continue with singles around the kit for example.
I feel like Kevin Parker wanted to show he knew how to play drums on this song
great as always, dude. do you know how kevin did that 'percussion' sound, the very first of the song?
I'm sure it's some kind of synth or drum machine, idk if it's possible to find out which one
It’s a percussive Tom on an 808 or something
SECOND
Any hints on what King Gizz albums youre targeting in the future?
What drum samples did you use for electronic drum parts Roddy?
I have a Roland td30k and I sampled from that an 808 kick with a long release, 808 snare and the basic group clap sound.
I feel like the hair is twice as long as last i saw it lol. Wonder how you know what to play on the fade outs 🤔listen on .75x or .5x, it's interestingly cool. Drum sound is fkn amazin as always.
I ramp up the volume at the same rate the music fades out. Haha yep it hasn’t been cut for over a year now!
do you do drum requests?
Yes mate
@@RoddyBailey Are you able to play The River by Austin Mo? 🤔
cover serpentine by the dee dee dums, kevs first band
I tried buying the drum chart and there was an error
Hey man email me through contact form on my website

Thank you doctor!
