Did You Know This About Wandless Magic in HARRY POTTER…

Any adult witches and wizards can do unfocused and uncontrolled magic without a wand! Before coming to Hogwarts, many young wizards display some sort of latent magical ability, by performing magic instinctively. For instance, Harry making his hair grow incredibly fast, or Neville bouncing when dropped from a window. So it is possible that wandless magic is primarily hard to cast because it is driven by emotion. Since children have less control over their emotions, they display more spontaneous eruptions of magic. Adults can do instinctive magic like that as well when they are under extreme pressure, though it’s less common.
