As an Irishman, specific to Dublin, he does a crackin' job at a Dublin accent. Cox itself is also an Irish Gaelic surname. While "Kin" is a play on the English word and the Irish surname, Kinsella, it's a play also on the real life gangster family name, Kinehan.
Yea his accent is brilliant. I'd never seen his work before Kin and i just thought he was an actor from Dublin 😂😂

Seeing his interviews also watching the program I think I am right with kin because his interpretation is very successful not only with the accent that does it very well but also because it is very broken, the character is also impressive, it is the one that stands out the most from the cast without detracting from others.
