I wanted to show-case proj. return by recording a few guardians and pinnacle bosses, but this just made me LOL... accidentally killing the boss while clearing the mob pack 😄
Proj return is pretty strong for our build, in this case I was wearing the ring ( Nimis ~13div cost ). You can also get proj. return from the new support gem.
Keep in mind we have a free 20% proj return by just using Divergent Lightning Trap, so in essence switching to Nimis "just" raise our chance from 20% to 100% return chance.

Do the returning projectiles shotgun? Otherwise the opportunity cost might be high. The optics are amazing though :D

yes, each projectile damages the boss both outbound and returning. I used to think projectiles only worked once per same target, but I was wrong. @@4ndyLA

@@ThatDanishFellowPlays Interesting. Just started levelling the character. Would go for Divergent LT or stick with the regular and take the returning projectile support?

Ooh I remember playing lightning trap a long time ago. I think it must have been scourge or maybe metamorph league, I can't remember.
But anyway! Just for the sake of reliving this, I started making this build again in the last few days.
Ever considered dropping shavrons and use the traitor keystone + corcuscating flask?
I'll be testing this, it will free up the body for a different unique or whatever

Decided out of nostalgia to try to level one more char and give the lightning trap a go once again ... We'll see how far we'll get, lords of the fallen release soon :D

you know the returning balls dont hit single targets right? (if they hit on the way out)

This used to be the case, but that was many leagues back now. (Mark responded about it on forums, the dev from ggg)
