This is a quick run through of the Mirror's Edge story. This video contains the story's essentials, which will probably be useful in your playthrough of Mirror's Edge Catalyst.

This game, after two playthroughs, surprisingly wasn't that boring. There were a lot of subtle story-builders in it that didn't make it into the final cut, like the ads in the elevators and ads out and about in the city; I found these to be pretty neat. This game took us about 3 and a half hours to beat and is definitely worth the playthrough if you're perceptive enough to pick up on small details and have an affinity for jumping at red stuff.

i played this game over and over, during original release and more recent re-releases (PC etc)

Sick. I'm just getting around to playing Catalyst. I really enjoyed the first mirror's edge back in high school. It was a beautiful game for Its time. Colors, reflections etc were all top notch. ESPECIALLY the music. I miss the sound track.

@Павел Васильев that is not true, mirror's edge Catalyst takes place in an entirely new universe, not associated in any way with the original Mirror's edge universe aside from some characters.
Yea I was wondering about that. I thought: Either Faith had two sisters named Kate, or the universes are not connected.

Still Alive is the songs name. Its still gives me chills because its so nostalgic. I was 13 at the time. Eleven years back.

Davester Plays Catalyst is a reboot I think... In Catalyst Kate and Faith haven't seen each other since they were kids.
Should also read the exordium comics. It explains the events that lead up to the Catalyst reboot game. :)
