“your grief might be a little more convincing, sir if you hadn’t just admitted, YOU CUT OFF YOUR WIFE’S HEAD!!!!”😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 OBJECTION!!!!!
McCoy is the G.O.A.T.😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
1000%😂😂😂
McCoy never saw saw a grandstand he couldn't get self-righteous on.
Definitely one of his best quotes.
LOL the way McCoy points at him while he is waving around the blade. "seeeeeeee"
One of my all-time favorite McCoy crosses. The closing argument in this case is another classic.
Agreed! A brilliant cross and definitely my favorite!!
It was the ending to a 3-part episode. It could have made a good feature film.
I could be wrong, but somehow, I don't think a murder suspect would be handed a dangerous weapon in court.
Nor would a prosecutor be allowed to make an argument that the witness was coached on how to testify
True. Though replicas that are not dangerous can be permitted in certain scenarios.
@@rmitton2008 It only becomes a problem is the defense lawyer objects and the judge sustains. That doesn't always happen.
He's waving that blade around on the stand at the end!!!🤣🤣🤣
9:25.
It was at this moment that he knew...
*HE F-CKED UP.*
FUCKED*
That male juror with his arm propping him up looks so hilarious with how incongruous he looked compared to the others.
The guy jumps up in court with a weapon in this hand, right next to the judge, clearly agitated…and the bailiff doesn’t immediately tase him???
Rich white guy syndrome. Happens all the time.
It’s TV dumbness
Ask the writers why
...Why would the doctor just stay there and let him do it instead of trying to stop him? And why would he help him further incriminate by telling him how to hide the body?
Panic? idk some people do random stuff
I hope you know that the doctor wasn’t there
He is lying, the doctor wasn't there
You could say he just has no ❤
the doctor wasn't actually there
Jacks entire line of questioning would not be allowed in a real trial
The dog with the three wishes, I'd definitely have liked to have seen them explore that truly inspired plot line a little deeper!
Lol..
This and the next 2-3 eps in this season are unparalleled, definitely a peak moment in all of L&O. I really hope they release ep recaps of "Mad Dog" and "Double Down" soon.
Always enjoy watching these three episodes.
Mad Dog and Double Down were so tense. I felt a lot of things watching those.
How has no one else identified MR MAX MEDINA?!
YO I KNOW RIGHT?! ITS MAX FROM GILMORE GIRLS XD
He hasn’t aged a day!
I always remember him first as Wolf on The Tenth Kingdom. That's where I saw him first
@@Tiekin515OH MY GOSH SAME. I knew him as the wolf first and then Max Medina!
Oh my gosh! Wait is he an actor?!
Who else besides me would have watched the hell out of the movie about the dog that gets 3 wishes?! Marley & Three
His defense lawyer failed him. He should have objected on relevance. Even if it got sustained, which it likely would have, his interjection would have given his client a moment to realize what was going on and calm down. Glad we got this moment, though!
I think you mean overruled. Which it likely would have given that McCoy's questioning went to motive.
Wasn’t in the script
Failed badly. Object endlessly. He knows his client is a drugged out hothead who is very likely guilty and should've never taken the stand!
He should've objected endlessly to just slow things down! Newman was losing his cool at "taking bears"...😂... his attorneys should've stopped it there!
By then it was too late, because even with the sustaining, in final summation McCoy can use that testimony as direct evidence that he admitted it.
Sam Waterston and Scott Cohen hit it out of the park here
Yes!!! A pas de deux of sheer triumph!! ⚔️
5:05 This line is great
It takes real talent to play that you´re a bad actor. He pulls it off brilliantly. Always just a little overdramatic.
How is his defense attorney not objecting attorney client privilege to this line of questioning?
This is your reminder to never, ever take the stand if you are on trial. EVER.
Also never take a polygraph
@@kayevelynellis8092yep agreed 100% percent.💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
@@kayevelynellis8092yep agreed 100% percent.💯🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥.
As i said before, Gorton and his asisstant deserved some punishment for all the mess than they do (Be fair, for little things Mc Coy get's even a time in jail, Kincaid was censored only for Thyer's word, Stone had a Headache with Swann...etc, but the defense never gets punished)
You never said it you liar
Love this episodes
This is my favorite episode of Jack McCoy. His cross…. I love watching his face. I’ve never forgotten it. 😊
Best. Show. Ever :)
Peacock is not streaming any law and order before season 13
McCoy is the 🐐 in crossing 😂😂😂
9:11 juror in grey suit light blue shirt.....leaning against the wall.....😂😂😂😂he knew the defendant fcked up then😂😂😂😂
7:39 Should the defense have made an objection that the medical examiner testified that she was struck, not that HE did it?
Omg it's Wolf from The 10th Kingdom!
Yesss i was looking for this comment LOL
10th kingdom vibes right here lol
YESS
Life without parole for the monster
I wonder why killers never really know how truly crazy they are.
Because you can’t see your own psychoses from an outside perspective.
You don’t do things you think are wrong unless you’re being deliberately malicious - you act based upon how your brain interprets outside stimuli. It’s just that the brain in some people doesn’t work in a particular way, or has grown and developed in a particular way that seems strange to other people. From their perspective, they’re acting completely rationally.
@@draco84oz Clearly bc he did not see Jack setting him up on the stand.
Cognitive dissonance
Me gustaría que la volvieran a emitir entera
The way I saw the thumbnail & went "The Heidy Ellison case" before even clicking, lol😂 L & O had some cases that were as iconic as irl legends✨️
I could watch law and order all.day every day..
"I coulda made something. I coulda been a contender."
this 3 part series is my favorite of all the episodes. It's uninterrupted as the three parts all follow each other and it has Carey Lowell as 2nd chair. McCoy would have lost without her.
Guys...
This ISN'T REAL...
was that testimony the greatest moment in the entire law & order franchise?
I first saw this guy in the Ripper video game. Fun surprise.
Oh hey - it is Quinlen.
"The wheels of justice may grind slowly, but they're moving - they're movin."
@@MyRYNOrunsHot Good times.
One of my all time favorite episodes
McCoy is freaking awesome
Scott Cohen is the winner!! 🏆
I see his point now.
He could've MADE SOMETHING!
Lorelai really dogged a guillotine 😅
So much for the right to counsel. I doubt a real judge would allow a prosecutor to ask a defendant anything about what a defense lawyer told their client while preparing for a case.
True. Attorney/client privilege.
Technically, lawyers aren't allowed to encourage false testimony.
Seems like it's a pretty standard question. And the judge, I believe, could only prevent the question if 1) he/she had ruled on it before the trial started and somebody tried to come through the back door or 2) the defense counsel objected. Neither happened in this case.
Have all the law and order murderers. He's definitely one of the Sickest in this show.
Last line... Nobody does that
This is the original, not SVU
Thank God. The original was always more interesting, in it's equal treatment of the Police and the District Attorney's office.🤔
@@dermothoran1814 SVU was really good until 2015.
Roger from guiding light 😊
Ouch
He played on a Soap Opera called Guilding Light.
He was also the very first Red Shirt to die on Star Trek.
R.I.P, Roger Zaslow.
The first thing I'd seen Scott Cohen in was Necessary Roughness as Nico the aloof and serious bodyguard with a dangerous secret past, a very VERY reserved character. EVERY other performance I've seen of him besides that are the most _cokehead_ characters.
Vintage Jack. Says it all.
Did she have hands? Did she have a face? Yes? Then it wasn't us.
Boris Boris why am I always named Boris
Can you imagine oj saying that on the stand
This story in L&O is interesting for GG-fans because it involved not just "Max Madina" but "Lorelai Gilmore" herself😉!
On what level of sick is Newman!?
I'm guessing the defendant ranting about his ex-wife while waving around the weapon didn't really help his case.
Is that Hershel Biggs as the defense attorney
Sounds like he doesn't understand the dynamics of marriage. And perhaps his wife is the same. If your ambition or your dream is that much more important, then why bother with marriage?
Objection objection objection objection
Kids back then those are what are called cassette tapes. And all hail the late great Michael Zaslow (1;49) aka Roger Thorpe on The Guiding Light. Your grandmas and moms probably watched it.
Zaslow was diagnosed with ALS in 1997. This episode aired in March of that year, so he was already having symptoms and possibly knew what he was facing. He died in December, 1998. RIP.
@@lagarde2011 I wish the streaming services would upload old soaps like Guiding Light and Another World. Missed opportunity.
Did Michael Zaslow plsy two separate parts on Guiding Light?
@@sheg1969 no only Roger. Roger had a brother though Alan. Roger was a busy guy married at least five times 😂
@@lagarde2011omg I had no idea! I had a crush on Roger Spaulding
Dr Duvall is played by Paul Hecht, who played Allie's ex-husband on Kate and Allie.
Can i get some context? This is the first time im ever seeing this so I'm confused
Where is the guilty verdict clip to this episode?
Holtz - Angel
No certain proof the hubby did it, the doctor had a motive so it could’ve been any of the two
Roger Thorpe!!!
Directors are that serious, about movies anymore.
Not cool man
Now we know how chicken nuggets are made 😮
so this was what max was doing when he and lorelai weren’t together
Wolf!
I was thinking..totally 10th Kingdom right there
Going to miss you, Sam.
begging for help for years and years,....
Huh. Guess Biggs practiced law before becoming a detective...
He hismd the body on Aegis 7.
Season 6 charm city
# 382!!! 👍
WHOOOOOOO.... DOGGY!!! 🤘🤘🤘🤘
Why is McCoy allowed to grill the defendant about his confidential conversations with his attorney??? Did the story include some legal explanation for this?
Because the defense attorney's last question and Eddie's response opened the door to allow McCoy to grill the defendant which he is allowed to do on cross-examination.
well. the wife was sleeping with the assistant, so guess she got her karma.
This is based on the OJ Simpson case!
Was the killer found gilty?
Yes
@@joeenglish706 Thought so. Thanks.
Adam Schiff: "Started with a killing, ended with an execution. You got what you wanted. Take the rest of the week off!"
McCoy: "It's Friday, Adam.."
Adam Schiff: "So it is. See you Monday."
@@JSolar590 Thanks.
The truth about the film industry is that actors/actresses are always looking to marry directors and producers, so that they land bigger roles and have career advancement. That's the nature of the industry.
d- girl, law and order 7-15
Who's thàt?
If her name was Lorena Bobbitt then I think they might have deserved it.... 🤯
would be nice if L & O have an original idea just once. Most overrated show and franchise in broadcast history. rivals breaking bad
