@@LaserStorm117 I primarily watch NL on CZcams because it suits my schedule better but there have been a few times I’ve caught him on twitch and can confirm that chat 100% deserves to be roasted always.
I know backseating gets a lot of chat interaction and probably drives viewership up but I wish he and his mods would at least temp ban people for it so they get the hint.
I feel like most of them are like dogs, where you push them away and they think you’re trying to play with them.

I got a 10 win marty for the first time in a while just by the power of scaling a fish and having meat crab behind it. NL is truly a SAP genius
also level 2 crab is valuable for penguin tech, even if it doesn't get mechanically better
@@Scrabblet2 Start of battle effects also go by order of highest attack so it is somewhat advantageous to buff the crab from getting one shot as well.

I learned today in one of my 10 win runs that if you scale a scorpion above 21 damage it one shots through mellon armor it was very fun to watch go crazy

This is the best start to a SAP video so far. The banter was at an all time high and only facts were spoken
You know after you said you can win the game with only tier 2 units I thought 'hey let's try that' and yeah it's easily doable. I used that rule as a hard limit, meaning not even temporary buys for higher tier units (like a buy/sell snail) were allowed.
For those interested, the squad was double dog, Shrimp, Swan, +1.
+1 buys should give you some advantage, like pigs that sell for 2 gold so you can buy+sell more units to get the dogs up. Swan is a good unit because it allows the same. Shrimp is actually a good unit in that comp because you sell so many units. You can also roll crabs and dodos for a bit.
The biggest problem was actually that sometimes you have to reroll the shop because there aren't and tier 1 or 2 units in it.
That aside I have to agree that crab is an A-tier unit. Dodo+Crab+Fed unit absolutely destroys
You must've gotten a bit lucky to find enough tier 2 units to buy as the game progressed
@@gothenmosph5151 Yeah though for clarification when I say only tier 2 units I do Include Tier 1 units for obvious reasons. With a Swan - especially at tier 2 - you do generally have enough extra cash to reroll enough times. I just had to make sure to always freeze them and you tend to have 1 or 2 gold remaining at the end of each round.
Double dog is killer on p2w. Use a bird for guaranteed attack scaling. I always make the bird scale itself when in tier 1.
I wonder if people will adapt to the new meta to a point where everyone is running stats food builds, and maybe even start creating builds that try to outsmart food builds
Or... SAP drops the second expansion and it's back to the wild west
Expansion pack 2 where it’s built around taking stats off your opponent will hard counter the current p2w builds.

I know dodo just got nerfed hard, but hear me out: dodo behind rooster is S tier strats, especially if you're running turkey (though it's not critical.) Just having both at level 2 gives rooster damage + (dodo damage x 2) three times, plus however many extra hits past 1 your rooster can get. It's so broken.
Trueee, I run it when I can get it.
Usually I run dodo at level 2 and get it to enough attack to get rooster to 40-50. If I could get rooster to lvl 2, extra pog.
Now I have enough roosters and chicks to slap ace units.
Then I just use the other 3 slots for a frontliner and some stuff to buff said front liner.
