Hello.
I don't know your name so it's just hello.
The setup you used today works easier with a much smaller system camera, 😃 😃.
But without fooling around, another very nice educational video.
For health reasons, I am forced to do 90% of my work indoors.
And this is also the reason I follow your channel.
I make more macro and small still lifes.
And you are the right teacher for that.
Because I have to give you this, as a teacher I have not seen anyone better on CZcams than you.
Kind regards from the Netherlands,
Antoine.
Thanks for watching.

Lot of kit for a simply shot
What a beautiful and informative tutorial. My question is - do you follow the same technique if you want to light up a vase full of flowers? I was trying to learn this for a long time. Thank you for your tutorial.
And i always asked myself how people got completely white or black backgrounds on their flower macros.

Another excellent tutorial, thank you. I have already tried my luck with a request for an HDR tutorial, but how about one on capturing moving viscous liquids like golden syrup or honey?
Or, how about lens ball work showing a reflection in the lens ball from a flower perhaps or multiple reflections in water droplets?
Have seen other tutorials on these subjects but your very clear, simple but precise tutorials will be so much better.
Great suggestion!
👍👍👍
Thank you
Fantastic
Thank you so much 😀
What about adding water to the leaves and stems, seems that would make it a little more realistic
Yes that would improve the shot.
Do you really need a 3 foot soft box with 1000 watt flash? Will a 24 inch octagon box with 400 watt flash work?
The bigger the softbox from the subjects point of view the more defuse the light will be. For a relatively small subject a small (
What camera are you using? Model specific
Canon 1DX mkIII
@@CameraClubLive That is an excellent camera for a wide range of purposes, excellent choice!! Personally I own a Hasselblad X2D 100C which is only good for still or fashion photography which is why I watched this video. I’m curious how a medium format with huge resolution can perform versus a professional DSLR like your canon.
But you didn't capture the rose as it was but altered the colour saturation and contrast, which in summary, isn't what many purists would want. However, I did appreciate the process.
Thank you
