Jaida's logic was actually on point, she just didn't convey it well. It doesn't matter if the person with the most stars has 3 or 30, all that matters is who makes it into the top 4. If you're tied with several other girls for 3rd and 4th, they're the ones who will stop you from making it to the finale, not the girl in the lead. Therefore, they're the ones you should block.

actually, i kinda disagree with this statement. Jaida has really been consistently killing it on the runway week after week. her pop culture and historical fashion references are extremely smart and impressive. i'd argue that Jaida hasn't had one bad runway throughout her whole RPDR run (so far lol). I agree that Raja is definitely the OG, but Jaida is very much right there with her.

This PitStop was WILD. I love it.
Jaida was spot on cuz she is already dead set for the final - Its not smart to block her now ... They missed their chance to stop her. Its more strategic to block whoever could be 2nd to 4th if you wanna make it to the final. Jaida basically gave them good advice. Now the others queens made it VERY likely that someone will get their 3rd Star next week.

I think having a real director who knows what they're doing AND who takes drag queens seriously REALLY helped this acting challenge. As Peppermint said, these are talented performers and when under the direction of someone like Janicza, they really shined. I enjoyed this acting challenge, probably the first in a long time

I think what Jaida could’ve meant was that she’s basically already secured her spot in the finale. Like it’s probably super unlikely that at this point with three stars she’s not gonna make it so blocking her really won’t make much of a difference where as if you block someone with two or one star that just makes it 10x more likely for them to not get a spot in the finale because they have very little opportunity to catch up especially after being blocked

An actual professional director, for one! It was great. She was supportive, gave DIRECTIONS and helpful. No sly or snide comments. Such a nice change. Better than Ru, Ross or Michelle. Not even good actors let alone directors!

YES! As another actual professional director (not on her level, natch), I was so grateful to see this. All these years of assuming directing isn't an actual skill people train for and acquire experience in. Not just anyone can direct!
peppermint's lip sync against trinity the tuck in the season 9 finale isn't talked about enough. that ruveal pepper did with her skirt and wig was so flawless and clean.
If it weren't for Sasha's rose petals, Peppermint's reveal during Stronger would've been the highlight of the finale.

jaida was kind of right - if someone's already in the top, it can make more sense to block someone else who could pass you. it only works later on when you're closer to the end, but it is a real thing

Blocking Jaida at 3 would help now since they can win and not be blocked by these queens who'll win challenges after challenges and lose out. It's also to protect yourself from the block.

Peppermint seems like THE most fun person to be around. She seems like, the friend who you go out with who gets you laughing WILDLY at the worst times and she grabs on to you so you’re both sinking into the ground losing it…. She’s amazing… I love when she shushes the room when she’s the loudest one in it…. She fills me with JOY!!
This was probably one of the funniest episodes ever, i've never laughed this much watching drag race. Raja had me rolling on the floor , I'm so happy she won. Monét deserved better, I screamed when she yelled "knock it off"...her whole performance was immaculate.
Also, Trinity make me crackle the whole time, she was so commited with the dumbness it didn't seem like acting at all! She is really that stoopid and doesnt give a fook!

I think my math is wrong but still Jaida seems right. It's because Jaida has 3 stars, so the only way Jaida doesn't make into finale is if 4 OTHER queens end up with 4 stars, I don't know if there's enough stars left to achieve that. So Jaida has to tie with other queens exactly at 3 stars, then get eliminated in a tie-breaker round, for her to not make it. Both scenarios require a lot of stars to be given out. I think it's pretty unlikely that Jaida falls out of finale now.

I think there's method to Jaida's madness. Yeah, she basically announced "hey, I haven't been blocked yet what are you doing" but now she is able to hide among all the other queens who were blocked 1 time and divert the attention she is getting as a frontrunner.
