Always wanted a dishwasher. I have changed my mind. 😊
LOL, I guess I can tell I’m from California and so use to saving water. When I have that many dirty dishes to put in the dishwasher I make a small pan with soapy water and use that to rinse. But technically dishes don’t have to be super clean before putting in the dishwasher. I also use a pan with water to rinse soapy dishes so I don’t keep running water.
Good idea with the socks or is it shoes when you were mopping the floors. It’s so easy to trip on floors especially when they’re wet.

Well for the amount of time it took you to rinse those dishes just to put them into the dishwasher - I would have just suds up my sponge and washed them and put them to dry - but we're all different in how we tackle chores

If you have ever lived with a dishwasher that was either broken or just non-working, rinsing the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher is just a habit. Also, I have found that the dishwasher does not clean as well as you think it does if there is no rinsing beforehand. Just my two cents 😊

@pattyspencer7795 That’s sure sounds condescending towards the way she cleans her dishes, as if you’re better than her. 🤦🏻♀️Lol.. A lot of people always rinse off their plates before putting them in their dishwasher. Food particles can get caught in the drainage part of the dishwasher, the dishwasher might not thoroughly clean caked on foods, and a dishwasher can also sanitize dishes better than soapy water. And if you haven’t heard, people are all different in how they tackle their chores. Did you think everyone cleans their dishes just like you? Lol

But I’m so glad she does, I do and most of the world has a dishwasher, sure helps with standing at the kitchen sink washing dishes, glasses, and utensils one by one, pots and pans while it will hurt the back and legs and feet every single time you stand a while just washing. No fun lol
Why do americans wash the dishes BEFORE they put em in the dishwasher? Are american dishwashers so bad?
ours is! we are in a rental and typically the dishwashers are on the lower quality side lol
I don’t do all that! You may as well just wash them by hand with all that business!
I do because all of the extra crumbs and debris go in the filter, and it's more annoying to always have to clean out all the time.

I definitely don’t scrub prior to loading my dishwasher and the dishwasher still cleans them great! Finish tabs are really good 😊
I know it's a popular trend but laundry detergent isn't meant for cleaning floors, it will leave a residue and attract more dirt. If not using a general all purpose floor cleaner, then a few drops of dish soap with vinegar is a great option and degreases. Laundry detergent is not a degreaser, hence why clothing with grease stains typically need to be pretreated.
ive actually been meaning to swap that method out! i havent really noticed it doing that great of a job so that totally explains why! dang tiktok lol do you have a recommendation for a good floor cleaner?
@@getitdonewithgabbiI never comment on cleaning videos but I’m worried about not rinsing the floor since you have little kids.
I use lemon ammonia and a couple squirts of Dawn with hot water, and then I do a rinse. I dry with a white towel and it stays perfectly white. Loved the video though. Your house is nice and clean.
@@getitdonewithgabbi I just use a couple of splashes of a multipurpose cleaner like fabuloso or whatever is on hand but then also splash in vinegar and a couple of drips of dish soap :)
Don’t even bother with soap off any kind, since all soaps have to be rinsed. And bleach should be rinsed off too if you use that. So I recommend just 50/50 white distilled vinegar and water. Cleans great, no residue, the smell goes away once it’s dry, perfectly safe for kids and pets, no harmful chemicals absorbed through the skin or breathed in, cheap, and can be used on most if not all flooring types, even wood.
Sometimes we all think we lead such different lives, but this was a reminder to me just how similar things really are. Gabbi, I totally load my dishwasher like you, then I was my sinks out, first spray then scrub with my long handled scrub brush, I run soapy water for the things I need to wash and feel for them in the water exactly the same way you do! I swear if someone videotaped me we could run them side by side and they’d be almost exactly the same! I just don’t sit on the floor to fold my clothes!im too old for that, I can’t get back up! Lol I have a spin mop but since I got my Bissell cross wave I use that all the time! Its😅 so much easier.
The wasted water running is giving ne anxiety... This is not relaxing lol

What a shame people who made negative comments to criticize her way of cleaning instead of just watching and it’s supposed to just be relaxing, are people with tensed up asses, screaming at her, in how wrong she’s cleaning or, saying in so many judgmental words towards her, “I can clean better”! “I would clean it this way instead”! Lol.. Some people forgot to just sit back and enjoy. No one cleans the same exact way, if we did, we would be robots! Lol 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️

Maybe she’s just doing it for the sake of the video. That’s pretty extra. Just wash them by hand if you’re going to do all that. I just toss mine in the dishwasher. The cascade does its job.
Yeah, standing on your feet, using your legs and your back holding you up, too, to wash all your dishes in front of your kitchen sink, is much more fun! Lol 🤷🏻♀️

Why you wash dishes with no soap
She used soap! Lol She used dishwashing soap for the extra things she didn’t put in her dishwasher and then a dishwashing pod in the dishwasher. She used Dawn soap.

How is she’s supposed to wash and rinse? Lol Luckily you don’t have to pay her water bill. And luckily there’s still several billion gallons of water in this world and water can get recycled and even people who live where it rains a lot or snows a lot, never run out of water. She knows what she’s doing. Lol
