If battery life is your issue, getting an s22+ is the way to go it's only $50-$70 the cost over the s22, that gets 6-7 hours of screen on time.

What are people's thoughts on buying a phone that has a small blacked out portion on one area of the screen that's now fully dead? This seems to be another thing that causes the prices of phones to be reduced significantly. It seems to be on the same level as heavy scuffs and cracks for causing the prices of phones to be dropped lower.
Is something like that a potential problem, or will the phone still operate for quite some time after that?

I love it. Just needs a better battery life. Turning the motion smoothness to 60 hz helps battery life quite a bit!

@kodyrandom honestly I'd recommend them to buy the s22+ has its $50-$70 more than the s22 which isn't significantly expensive over the smaller s22 and gives you better battery life, the best battery life from the other s22 series.

Does it because Samsung doesn’t use its LTPO technology if you use 60hz
Turn of show refresh rate and see it stuck at 60hz, drains more battery compared to phones that USE LTPO and possible burn in within a while

I may not understand your question but if you're asking what is better: Samsung S10 plus or s21 plus then s21 plus is newer and better, at the same price as s21 plus the s21 Fe is better so go for that(s21 Fe)

If you don't care about updates then yeah, s21 plus is a better choice because it has more ram and slightly better camera
