The CRAZIEST Gym I've Ever Played Volleyball In

Hi there! My name is PMEvolleyball and I'm a volleyball player and content creator. Today was another Volleyball Match of the 2024 LBC men's Volleyball Season, the Men's Volleyball Team I play for. In this Volleyball Match, we played against Rutgers University (Newark). We played this match in their home gym, which happens to be a giant dome. This was the first time I played volleyball in an environment like this and it was definitely memorable. Irs crazy how often the first ball over is set these days since they changed the rules a couple decades ago. Seeing cats going down low to recieve the serve with hands tells me they must not have too much confidence in their passing game. you got pretty good hands bro and made some good decisions. A lil tip for the service game for dude who likes the floater. Try stationary with nipple down in your palm with a short toss with no spin will tend to produce more movement. Something about thar minor weught difference on the nipple side would cause the ball to move upwards of an entire ball widrh in the last few feet of travel sometimes. I could drop mine inside the 10 ft line where the setter would be overlaped with a front row weak side coming out of the 6 catching dude dropping back not expecting me to drop it in on him and then drilling a line drive floater deep middle back between the back row players who werent expecting the heater and id end up serving 3 4 and 5 straight points from changing spots and velocity but always with movement and pin point accuracy. When i grew up playing the sport i was on the very first boys club team in st louis in the early 9Os prior to the rally scoring became the permanent system and you could only score while serving so service errors where detrimental where as nowadays theres a point everytime the ball hits the floor so everyone is all about the jumpers serving tough. As a skilled passer i always loved receiving jumpers cause they were predictable in their travel so easy to track but a gangster floater with wicked movement will produce some straight shanks or free ball situations. When you can drop it anywhere you want you can pick on the worst passers and then they will give you an opening trying to hide that guy and id switch up and find the open spot that shift provided. such a great game isnt it. Keep doin your thang bro. Be easy
