Nonsense! Connery and Moore were better than Brosnan. He's better than Dalton and Craig, but to think that anyone is a better Bond than Sean is blasphemy. He's too much of an action star, not suave and subdued enough.

What a Terrific Action
Michelle Yeoh was in this playing a more interesting than usual female character. She is an incredible and action star, not the usual Bond 'girl' but a woman who can get things done herself. It is too bad we did not see any female characters as serious agents until the current Bond film. Did I miss one? Ms Yeoh is in the current Marvel movie Shang-Chi and the legend of the 10 rings. I cannot agree more with a past comment here that she is a legend yet underrated. I liked Pierce Brosnan in the Bond movies also. I have liked MANY movies of his. The Mamma Mia movies surprised me. The Foreigner was very interesting.

Pierce Brosnan was second only to Sean Connery as James Bond. I would give anything for Pierce to return as an elderly Bond, but what are ya gonna do.
He's the Bond I grew up with. I'd watch the hell out of an aged Brosnan Bond film and eat up every second.

Roger Moore had the good sense to hang up the Walther PPK after view to a kill. He was already in his mid to late 50s and pushing sixty years old. Pierce Brosnan same story. These actors get more difficult to insure for action sequences as they age. I am personally not interested in watching a senior actor doing intense action sequences further risking their health and lives for these action heavy Bond movies. Smart actors know when it's time to start winding down as they get older. I am 53 and certainly not up for high physical activity.
We can go for the Spiderman-style reunion of all surviving 007s, to save the world from ALL the Blofelds!

Many of the Bond action scenes take an already-existing action scene and sort of, snobbishly, present what for the producers is better. Someone saw Michelle Yeoh in Police Story III and, with fingers rapping on chin, said, 'hmmm. Now how can we do this better?'
