- The Tundra has gone through a major redesign and Toyota wanted to add a new trim to the lineup. On the outside you will discover a unique grill, 22in wheels, and full LED lighting. On the inside there is an interior taken right out of the Lexus LS 500. Under the hood is the iForce Max 3.5L twin-turbo V6 mated to an electric motor & bolted to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Is the 2022 Toyota Tundra Capstone the KING of luxury trucks?

Hello POSTLE JOE! I want to wish you and Lori a very Happy Thanksgiving I enjoy the videos you do and this Tundra looks. Yes it's not perfect or else it's going to be a boring but it's the pickup truck's disciple.
This would work in cranberry. Seriously, this looks great against the Florida wilderness, and I haven't seen a luxury pickup truck since the days of the Lincoln Mark LT and the Cadillac Escalade EXT. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Joe, with the new additional towing power, this thing could haul a 30ft sail boat! The interior seems nicer than the competition but the light colors may not be suitable as a work truck. I like the truck.
We have one, def not a work truck, just a luxury pickup and with room for work if need be.
Only the upper portions appear to be light at least; maybe that’s why. A full light interior I think would be nice tho
I came so close to the Capstone over the Platinum, but the light coloured interior ruined the deal, not to mention the additional equipment just didn’t justify the extra cost! LOVE the Platinum!

I found a gt500 with CFTP(carbon fiber track package) and guess what,I invited my neighborhood to eat there dinner on top of the wing.(yes I did use plates) and all my neighbors are part of the Raiti’s rides family. 😅
And what’s the best part, we put a big tablet on the wing and we started

Great looking Tundra earlier this year thought this thing was just ugly now has grown on me. I think its a beautiful truck love everything all you need is turkey and cranberry sauce go along for this special holiday. Definitely digging that capstone tundra love the whole fancy restaurant look of it competing with those badass f150 limiteds wouldn't say I'm getting it all dirty but HOWEVER I'd still tow my horses with it I know that truck can still definitely do those things. I own 3 but I only need to tow one at a time in a two horse trailer.

While I appreciate the rust-proof nature of the composite bed I'm not as excited about the weight loss. In general, of course, that would be a great thing but trucks are already so nose-heavy compared to other vehicles that it's just going to be that much more pronounced in conditions like rain, snow, etc.. This is and TRD are so freaking awesome.
Interior is awesome. The exterior not so much. I tried to give it a chance. Front grille is ugly and the truck has a sort of low rider stance.
Do smaller wheels give you a more comfortable ride on a car or Truck??

Hey @Raiti's Ride, other reviewers are criticizing the Tundra Capstone for its choppy & harsh ride no matter which drive mode it's in. Also, they said it was very loud and noisy, so what give? I mean your review says otherwise.

Beautiful truck but agree 100% on the white, personally I love the look of it...when new but how will it look after a year, white always tends to change somewhat with sun exposure not to mention the oil/dirt from our skin so yeah, the thought of having what looks like a camo piss colored/white interior doesn't excite me and outdoor workers would avoid this interior like the plague (they shoulda went with a medium grey), cheers.

2022 Toyota Tundra CrewMax Hybrid Capstone 4X4!
So far Toyota is the only one that has properly implemented physical controls and large infotainments, every other large infotainment screen I have scene in cars and trucks, all the really vital functions are all on the touch screen and its annoying, even spending 15 mins test driving couple of them it literally took me a couple of minutes to find the temp change in one of those cars, because everything is hiding under menus and such.
